Holiday Gift Ideas, DIYs and Giftaway Winner!

With Thanksgiving and the December holidays right around the corner,
it’s time to start thinking gifts!
Some of the most treasured packages are things made from the heart, that extra meaningful gesture of giving something you have made
Here are some suggestions for hostess gifts, friendship gifts, and something for someone who has everything
Homemade scones are a lovely breakfast treat to bring to your host or hostess, whether you are staying overnight, or just for dinner or a party, this is something they can enjoy in the morning or freeze for later
Vanilla Scones with Cranberries, Apricots & Pecans
Bacon Salt is perfect for any guy!
Everything Seasoning is a welcome addition to any kitchen, make up a big batch, put it in jars,
A sprinkle on buttered toast makes instant garlic bread
Include some recipes printed out on card stock or recipe cards, like
Everything Puff Pastry Sticks {aka Wacky Weeds}
or make a batch of
Everything Cocktail Cookies and include the recipe
If you don’t feel like cooking, fashion a theme gift basket like this Gingerbread Man basket, this type of gift is great for a family
Stores like Target, HomeGoods, World Market, Pier 1, even Walmart or the grocery store, are great places to find a cute container and fill it up with goodies, maybe a decoration or two, a picture frame, cooking utensils, a holiday mug or plate, a baked good from the deli
Choose a basket, box or container, shop around the store, filling it up as you go
Add a gift tag and your gift is wrapped and ready!
Even a bright basket of simple fruit makes a most welcome festive gift
Holiday Jars are fun to make and give too
A few chocolates, tea bags, cocoa mix, a candy cane combine to make a most welcome little treat jar
Paint a quick little holiday tree on a jar for giving or decorating
Or just paint a jar white and add a holiday ribbon and fill with goodies
Coconut Rum Snowball Mix is the perfect hostess or friend gift
Layer the dry ingredients in a jar and add a tag with the directions for assembly
Serve the “Snowball” with assorted cookies or fruit slices
