December, 2 days away!
๐ Are you ready?? ๐
Will you be baking up a storm?ย ย ย Traveling?
This is the one month I don’t travel, and I will be happily in place at
decking the halls, and doing all things Merry
In fact, the Paint Bucket is posting early for December because tomorrow is my holiday home tour of the “South Pole”

Here’s what I made from the November Paint Bucket
Brussels Sprouts, Pecan & Bleu Cheese Pull Apart Pizza from Climbing Grier Mountainย
inspired a Crazy Pizza Bread Loaf
Endive Salad with Nut Salsa & Apple Dressing from Epicurious took several turns and became
Spinach Salad with Roasted Pears, Prosciutto and Brussels
it was featured on Full Plate Thursday at Miz Helen’s Country Cottage
Roasted Acorn Squash with Maple Syrup and Pecans became
Acorn Squash Glazed with Maple, Bleu Cheese and Pecans
Instead of Slow Cooker Four Cheese Mac and Cheese from
Damn Delicious, I opted to make
Slow Cooker Lasagna Tortellini Soup from Olla-Podrida
turned into 3 Way Tortellini, Soup-Stew-Pasta
Italian Pesto Sliders from Wine and Glue were the inspiration for a
Do Ahead Dinner featuring
Winter Warmth Chowder and Family Friendly Italian Sliders
We really enjoyed all of these recipes, and the fact that they are so easy and perfect for the busy days ahead
I don’t know where the month went but here it is 2 days from December!

You mentioned an appetizer Cranberry White Cheddar Spirals and I canโt find the recipe. I want to make these so could you please advise as to where I can find the recipe.

hi Patty, I haven’t posted the recipe yet, but it is based on the Cranberry Walnut Spirals recipe, https://thepaintedapron.com/2015/11/24/take-out-tuesday-cranberry-walnut-pie-spirals-with-gorgonzola-butter/ I used white cheddar, dried cranberries & almonds, rolled up in pie crust dough and cut into spirals and baked. I will try to get it posted for you next week. Thanks Patty, sorry for the confusion!
