The Organized Life, January Paint Bucket

🥂 Cheers to 2018!

Everyone likes to eat lighter after the holidays so the flavor of the month for January is Broccoli

Although broccoli is not a favorite vegetable of mine it is so healthy and versatile, I want to try using it in some new ways

If you’re not a fan of broccoli, don’t worry, there are plenty of tempting recipes on this month’s list without it!

You can see photos and recipe links for these recipes and the ones for December on the December/January Paint Bucket Pinterest board here

Here’s what I made from the December Paint Bucket

The flavor of the month was holiday, so everything from basic fries and mac and cheese got a little “fancied up”

Warm Fig & Prosciutto Goat Cheese Dip from Iowa Girl Eats became Figgy Bleu Spread

Cranberry White Cheddar Spirals can be assembled in minutes

Fancy Skinny Nibbling Fries are acutally Potato Peel Fries

Jack Daniels Smoky Bacon Mac & Cheese from the Slow Roasted Italian turned into

Iron Skillet Smokey Mac & Cheese on the Grill

Sheet Pan Shrimp was adapted from New Orleans Style BBQ Shrimp from Dream Home Cooking Girl

I made a Snowy cookie tree inspired by Table top Christmas Cookie Trees from BHG,

Good for decoration or eating!

Cranberry Lemon Pie from Traeger Grills is such a pretty holiday dessert

We had it for Thanksgiving but it would be wonderful anytime during the holidays

I combined elements from Peppermint Mocha Cheesecake Dip from Mom on Time Out,    Oreo Peppermint Crunch Cookies from Inside Bru Crew Life,  and Red Velvet Cake into

Red Velvet Candy Cane Cookies

These cookies can be enjoyed 3 different ways and they make up in minutes

Cheers to a New Year and lots of great recipes!
