Creations, Books & Bags!

There are several fun events coming up and I’d love for you to join them!

Leslie Anne Tarabella, a fellow Southerner from Fairhope AL, is a friend I met through blogging, and we get together now and then for lunch and laughs.  She is a super talented writer and has just published her first book!

She writes wonderful columns for AL.com, the Mobile Press Register and other Southern newspapers.  This charming woman will capture you immediately with her friendly warmth, and genuine character.  Her words will make you laugh and she will melt your heart.

Leslie Anne is currently on a book tour signing her new, soon to be best seller,

The Majorettes are Back in Town: and Other Things to Love About the South

Her book celebrates the wonderful quirky things about the South, with good, honest humor and wit, and stories that will make you slap yo’ mama  laugh out loud…

And lucky us, she will be in the Birmingham area,

Barnes & Noble at the Summit on Saturday at 11 am!

I hope you will stop by and welcome Leslie Anne, and show her some Southern hospitality and support!!

I will be there with the other ladies of the “Alabama chapter” of the Traveling Totes,

the French Hutch Emily,

and the Sketchy Reader Ricki Jill…

Please join us at Barnes & Noble!

If you don’t live near by, or you can’t get by the bookstore, her book is available on line from Amazon here you want this book in your collection!

AND!!!

the Fearless leader of our Traveling Tote group, Pandora’s Box Patti,  received 2 MacKenzie-Childs large Courtyard tote bags from MacKenzie-Childs and she is giving one away!!

The Tales of the Traveling Tote Ladies are thrilled that MacKenzie-Childs has recognized us,

This sounds like a book I would enjoy Jenna, and I could really use a laugh or two. Wish I was closer to pop in B&N and meet the ‘Alabama chapter’ girls in person. I’m looking forward to your reading and seeing the next adventures of the TT, I always enjoy seeing where y’all are travelling and toting to. 🙂

  2. Jenna, I hope to come to the book signing. Leslie Anne is a Southern charmer for sure. What a nice give-away. I think we have had enough rain, Happy Thursday!

  3. I would love to meet Leslie Anne in person and that book is definitely on my list! I hope she comes to the Dallas area. Y’all have fun!

  4. Oh, there are times when I wish I lived closer or had a bigger travel budget! Wouldn’t that be fun! And I love the things you shared here — your creations! Very nice indeed!

Great post and nod to Leslie Anne and her book tour. I am looking forward to seeing her again and of course you and RJ. Patti’s giveaway is awesome and I have to tell you I love the tote. I have one, given to me from my son, DIL and grandson for Christmas last year and I love it! It is light as a feather and carries a lot of my “stuff.” See y’all Saturday……..
