Holidays, Crazy for Carrots and an Easter Egg Tree

Have you hopped into Easter yet?

I have been gathering my eggs and bunnies, starting to get ready for lots of family coming for Spring Break & Easter

HH just loves this pencil tree that we’ve had up since early December

We decided to transform it once again into an Easter Tree

I replaced the ornaments from the Mardi Gras Tree/Valentine Tree with fish, starfish, glass floats and mermaids, and added some sparkly eggs

We are going to tuck some Easter surprises under the tree for our little bunnies to discover

I also set up the kitchen island with a bunny & carrot theme

Bunnies are there to greet you with Easter eggs and chocolates

An egg garland winds it’s way through the plate stacks and cake dome

The painted palm tree cake dome is decorated with pair of a fabric carrots

I made these decoupage bunnies last year

You can find the tutorial and lots more Spring ideas

crafts, tables, flowers and recipes

in my new magazine “all things Spring!”

Near the entrance to the kitchen there is a “snack station,” with jars of nuts, crackers and cookies, along with small bowls

This keeps the traffic down in the main part of the kitchen when hungry hands are looking for nibbles

Across the island, the cake dome is full of mini lemon muffins for dessert or breakfast

I will be sharing the recipe for these muffins next week, you won’t want to miss this, these are THE best muffins ever!

There are Spring mugs on a charger ready for coffee or tea {or muffins 😋}

And a gurgling fish pitcher of hydrating water…

These pitchers actually gurgle loudly when you pour from them, you almost want to say “Excuse me!”

I love those sweet bunny backs…

The table has a carrot centerpiece

A carrot wreath surrounds a lantern full of carrots

Thanks for hopping by!

  8. Spring certainly arrive at your home with so many pretty ideas. Love the painted dome and all the colorful plates and bunnies. I adore those mugs with the pretty colors inside. Great idea for the snack station when you have a large group, especially young ones coming and going. The tree has served you well Jenna. Everytime I see it I question myself as to why I haven’t done that. I have a lot of Easter ornaments. Have a wonderful and happy Spring week……..
