Remember you can always see photos of all these recipes and the ones from the months before on the Monthly Paint Pinterest Board here

The flavor of the month for April is

Here’s what I made from the March Paint Bucket,

the Flavor of the Month was Lemon

On the Go Snack Jars turned into Grab a Snack Jars

I combined Lemon Herb Roasted Potatoes from Rock Recipes and Lemon Butter Green Beans from Mother Thyme

into Sheet Pan Lemon Roasted Potatoes & Green Beans

Rainbow Bowls with Almond-Ginger Dressing from Love and Lemons became

Rainbow Salad with Almond Butter Dressing

I shied away from making a Slow Cooker Deep Dish Pizza

and opted instead to make a deep dish pizza in a springform pan,

Spring Green Sausage & Vegetable Pizza Pie

Sugared Lemon Donut Cake, was soooo good,

I can’t wait for an excuse to make it again!

You can also make it without the icing with a simple Lemon Glaze

Irish Bread & Butter Pudding from Home is Where the Boat is

and Bailey’s Irish Creme Brulee from Rouse’s Market

were the inspirations for

Slow Cooker Chocolate Caramel Bread Pudding with Bailey’s Dessert Sauce

I also made Lemon Mini Muffins with Lemon Glaze, not on the bucket list, but I highly recommend them!

Thank you for your visit, Happy April!

  1. Jenna, it is strawberry season at my favorite local farm and we are predicted to have a freeze in the morning and two more over the next few days. I hope the strawberries survive. Yum, the strawberry coffee cake muffins sound delicious this morning. Happy Wednesday!

  6. So much yumminess here! I love to make sheet pan veggies! Aren’t they the best? I combine all kinds of things but I always include onions. I’m going to pin those lemon muffins and try them. 🙂

  7. Jenna, I always look forward to finding out your Flavor of the Month! Strawberries — I love! But we are so far from strawberry season up here and I can see snow flurries out my window at this minute! Your recipe list looks so yummy and I’m looking forward to seeing your strawberry lemonade pie and the tacos! Linda

    • April is the beginning of strawberry season in the South, so sorry for the teaser, but I have some great recipes coming up you can keep in mind for later this summer. Thanks Linda!
