Tablescapes, Here Comes Summer!

Before I left for the city this week, I had to have some pre-summer fun,

And get outside and play in the bright spring sun

I’m off to see baseball games and a 3rd birthday, but first I just had to set a seaside table today

Spring has been elusive this year, and Summer seems like it will never get here

This table is luring Summer to come straight away…

Crabs, fish, seashells and starfish promise it’s soon to come your way

Starfish sparkle against the blue sky

Crabs, shells and fish seem to multiply…

Before we know it, it will be July!

As the day ends and the sun goes down

The lights come on and there are more fish to be found

When the green light under the pier turns on

More fish will be drawn!

I’m sending you fishes and warm wishes today

Summer is coming, it’s on the way!!

Cute table setting! We had two fantastic days… Now it’s back to 40 and rain. Here’s hoping your setting does bring the sun back:@)

    • You poor thing, I can’t believe the weather you’re having! If it makes you feel any better it’s been freezing here the last 2 days, but…supposed to be in the 70s for the rest of the week 😎

  3. Nice! It takes me back to my childhood on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico in Southeast Texas. Your tablescapes are lovely.

Great table with the pretty water in the background. I would be happy for some consistent spring days. We had 77 on Thursday and it was wonderful. Today 33 with an ice storm, ugh! I am so done with winter! Thanks for the fun seaside table.

  8. Sandy Park says:

OOOOOOOOOOOOO wonderful table. Love, want, love, want everything on the table. Thanks for taking me to the coast.

It sure looks like summer at your beach home Jenna! So many pretty summer colors, love your table setting and all the new summer designs. I love that pillow, hope you have it all over your house, it’s gorgeous. I guess you think you’ve stepped back into winter here this weekend. Will the cold ever decide to leave!

  12. Jill Kuhn says:

Oh, love your festive summer table decor, Jenna!! 😃🍽🦀🐚🐬

  13. Jenna, what a cute and fun table and an adorable grand fishing! It is 37 degrees here this morning! Happy Monday~

    • I came to Bham Sunday and almost froze to death at a birthday party yesterday afternoon…it was cold and windy at the beach too…the end of the week sounds great though!!

  14. Well, this one makes my heart sing. Believe me, if I could tele-transport into a post, this is the one I would choose (says the woman living in an ice storm and expecting snow later today). The blue, the brights, the fish — oh, I love the fish and those deck chairs! — well, it makes me happiest camper ever and reminds me, nothing lasts forever!

  15. Mary says:

Love your summer round up Jenna and little fisherwoman 🙂 This has been the craziest spring…we’re had rain, hail, blustery winds, freeze warnings and 80 degree temps all in one week. On a side note, I’m wild about your bee skep design! I buzzed over to Society 6 but didn’t find it or a summer collection.

  16. So that is what the Sun looks like when its out….I keep forgetting. lol I am loving the bright color right now as we got snowed on yesterday! ughh… I need to move south and be closer to ya’ll again. This table is seriously making me miss Florida and the beach!

    How fun I love it!
