Tablescapes, Tranquil Sea

There is nothing like a sea of blue

And dining in a “room” with a view

The waters on the coast are various shades of blue and green

The most beautiful water, when it’s tranquil and serene

We got a new table that will seat 8

Of course, the first thing I did was begin to play and decorate!

It’s a great choice for this harsh salty climate

Washable, durable and no seat pillows to get wet

A papier mâché bloom in a sea green vase

With blue plates and glasses at each place

A sea striped runner and glass starfish

A sea of blue is the very best dish!

Juicy Details

The table and chairs are all weather polywood, they are heavy and won’t be affected by wind and the chairs will dry quickly if they get wet.  No more hurrying out to gather pillows when it’s raining.   The furniture is from Warehouse Patio

The outdoor rug is from Home Depot.  I saw the exact same rug on Wayfair and several other sites, but Home Depot had the best price.  Outdoor rugs are amazing, if they get dirty or moldy, they will look brand new with a little pressure wash

Margarita glasses were handpainted, you can see a tutorial for painting glass here and here

Plates and other glass pieces are from various favorite stores in the past few years

I hope you have a beautiful day and it is as calm as a tranquil sea!

  4. Jenna, the first thing I noticed are your beautiful table and chairs. They look perfect on your deck. Your cute poem and fabulous Tablescape reminds me how much I love our gulf beaches, they truly are the best! I would love to sit down at your lovely table and breathe in the salt air! Happy Wednesday!!

    • Thanks Pam, my husband was skeptical about changing from a bar height table to the lower one, but now he loves it and the chairs are very comfortable and can be pulled away and used just for sitting. Not only is everything weatherproof, it’s kid-proof!!

  5. Your table looks lovely and compliments the view! Have a wonderful Mother’s Day, Jenna.

Hey Jenna. I tried to leave a comment on the blog post but couldn’t make it work for me. I love your dining set! I have been looking for one for our back deck and this is perfect! Can you give me the brand name of the furniture since I can’t get to Warehouse Patio? Thanks so much! everything is beautiful! Would love to be there! 😎

    • hi Robyn, the furniture is from Windward Design Group, http://www.windwarddesigngroup.com it’s pricey but worth it because it is so durable and weatherproof, plus comfortable and attractive. The furniture is polywood, and there is a link in the post to read more about it. They have some really nice all weather wicker that we almost chose. Have fun shopping!
