Tablescapes, An “Un Royal Tea”

In honor of the royal wedding, won’t you join me for a spot of a tea?

This  “un royal” setting is for just you and me!

Silver teapots shine on a tray with bouquets

Plenty of tea things and flowers

to enjoy for hours

A bright mix of teapots and lots of sweet treats

Make yourself comfortable and have something to eat!

Lemon squares and chocolate cupcakes

They’re from Trader Joe’s, I had no time to bake!

Sea salt caramel candy in painted silver tray

Be sure to try one, it will make your day!

A special tea tag is a take home favor

And extra tea bags for you to savor

A few funky teapots help set the mood

What would the queen say, would she think they were crude?

One is a wardrobe and one an artist’s desk

A travel trunk pot and a potting table,

which one do you like best?

The best way to describe this table is eclectic I guess!

Oh, one more thing, before I say any more…

Since the queen couldn’t be here, would you mind if I pour?
