Holidays, Memorial Day Cook-out Recipes you can cook inside!

We will be watching the rain from Alberto tomorrow, but we aren’t complaining…
We are so fortunate to live in the USA,
where so many men and women have graciously served
to keep us safe and free!
Thank you for your service!
Just in case your picnic or BBQ gets rained out, here are some things you can make inside that will make you feel like you’re at a backyard cookout!
These are made with bleu cheese, but you can use any cheese you like, and spread the inside of tortillas with ketchup, mustard or your favorite burger spread like Bama Burger Sauce
Picnic Chicken Sliders with White BBQ Slaw
These are made in the slow cooker, you’ll never miss the grill!
Strawberries & Cream Pretzel Salad
Who cares if it’s raining?

thanks Jodi! I hope you are enjoying the holiday weekend!
Super recipe roundup, Jenna, I think I’ll try those onion strings today with my new-to-me mandolin I got at the thrift store. Thanks for the heads up on the Society Six sale. I need another pillow to go on the verandah with the one I got last year.
Thanks Carole, hope you enjoy!
Such great ideas! I was afraid it was going to rain all weekend, but it looks like we may get a break today before the serious stuff starts tomorrow. Thanks for sharing your yummy suggestions. Here’s hoping y’all have a lovely day, rain or shine. 🙂
What a gorgeous weekend we had, lucked out this time with only rain this afternoon, stay safe Hope!
I love your menu and your great attitude toward the rain. I’ve always been a big fan of the strawberry pretzel dessert. Have a great day!
Thanks Debbie!
Wonderful tribute, and always the yummiest food Jenna. I’ll be thinking of dad and husband both buried in the Veterans Cemetery in Nevada.
Oh Sharon, thank you for their service!
Happy Memorial Day Jenna, stay safe and dry:@)
So far so good!
Happy Memorial Day, Jenna! What a great idea when you have to move the celebration inside. I love fried pickles. This is a great round-up! It looks like rain for the entire week!
Yes, yucky week ahead! We got lucky on the coast, it was beautiful all weekend…expecting rain this afternoon, it seems like Birmingham and Gadsden will be getting much more than we do…
We needed some rain at our house, but not a week long event. Oh, well the weather is not anything we can control!
Happy Memorial Day Jenna! Your cook-out round up sounds delicious. Our celebrating will be indoors today too since we’re a soggy mess. I hope your beach house and Birmingham is safe from high winds and storm surges. ♥
Thanks Mary, crazy how it’s going to be worse inland!
There are so many mouthwatering recipes here. I can’t wait to try the potato crowns. Have a safe and Happy Memorial Day!
Thanks Laura, hope you enjoy!
I love your decor for the 4th and also all the wonderful recipe for an plan B. We have been rained out many times just at grilling time, so it is always good to have a plan B. Hope you are having a great week and thanks so much for sharing with us at Full Plate Thursday!
