Welcome to the Alfresco Tablescape Hop!

Our tireless leader Chloe from Celebrate & Decorate works so hard to keep us updated and organized so we can bring you  wonderful round ups of seasonal and themed tables.  All the links can be found at the end of this post, and you will want to visit them all!

Today I want to share our little slice of paradise on the Alabama Gulf Coast

Our beach house is on a private island, just off Perdido Key, 1 mile from the Alabama Florida state line

We love to be here at our island getaway

This is considered a subtropical zone, so lets start this party with some tropical blooms in a fresh pineapple

The flamingos are celebrating, come join the fun!

  1. Jenna, such a lovely post. Yes, Orange Beach is a paradise and one of my favorite places to spend a week on those sugar white sands. Love all the views from your home and the Pass when you are boating. Love the tropical setting, the pineapple and flowers make a fabulous beachy centerpiece. I love all the color. A perfect tablescape for paradise! All the food sounds wonderful too!

    • Thank you Emily! More and more people are discovering Orange Beach and I’m afraid it’s not quite as sleepy as it used to be, but we just stay on the boat or the island and watch the world go by!

  2. Lynn says:

Looks like you had fun pulling all those great colors together Jenna! Enjoy:@)

  3. What a delight it would be to sit at this beautiful tropical table. And… the food would be wonderful I am certain! Your menu sounds great!
I love your colors and patterns and whismy, Jenna! The flowers in the pineapple drew my eye immediately and that fushsia scarf is so lovely.
Creative and delightful! Could I have a piece of that pineapple volcano rum cake for breakfast!!!

    • Thank you Bonnie! I added the scarf at the last minute and loved the way it made everything pop. I wish I had a piece of that cake too, I will have to make it again soon!

  4. Mary says:

Oh those blue water views and sunny skies with a Gulf breeze blowing and palms trees swaying! Love all the flamingos in their tropical attire and festive plates! The scarf added down the center of the table with your leaf runner provides the perfect pop of pink. Your menu looks delicious too! It’s always a pleasure to blog hop with you Jenna. ♥

  7. Jenna, it is good to see the winds cooperated with you and the views are just beautiful. So many people don’t realize that our beaches in Alabama are gorgeous! I love your tropical Tablescape with the cutest flamingos dressed for the occasion.and fun plates. The flower filled pineapple is perfect for a tropical setting and those cute pineapple napkins. I am with Bonnie, send over a slice of pineapple volcano rum cake!

    • Yes I was worried about the wind, it was really blowing over the weekend but completely calmed down Monday. I couldn’t bear to set this table inside! Thanks Pam!

  8. Kitty says:

What a fun, tropical themed table, Jenna, and a wonderful menu you’ve shared, too. The pineapple filled with pretty flowers made the prettiest centerpiece. I can see why you don’t like to leave your own private resort.

What a slice of heaven you’ve got! It must be super humid! My hair would revolt, but I’d love the summer heat. Your subtropical paradise tablescape is absolutely adorable. I love all the flamingos, they’re locals I take it? 😉

  13. Your little flamingoes are so fun, what a great way to get the party started! I love the bright colors and tropical fun expressed through your table styling. I absolutely enjoy the tropical mix of colors and how you set the scene in your locale, Jenna. It makes me wish I was there! The HL characters are adorable (we’re soon getting a HL closer to home!). You know I love your Society6 items, they just need to start doing linens with your artwork!

    • Thank you Rita, your lips to Society 6’s ears! Watch out for Hobby Lobby, they have so many temptations. I will say I got the flamingos for 66% off and some new 4th of July things at 80% off!

  15. Linda says:

Great minds think alike Jenna. Love your cute flamingo pals. The flowers look so pretty in the pineapple. Truly a tropical setting. Fun colors add to the theme. With your lovely pool and water at your finger tips, you must feel like paradise. What a great menu jenna. of course your food is heavenly. It would be so special to join you.

  16. Kari says:

Love your flamingos Jenna….I LOVE the “hula” one! sooooo cute and using a pretty pink scarf instead of a table runner is perfect. The plates are amazing and I enjoy flowers in a pineapple and have been doing several of them this year… yours are soooo beautiful. We, who live near the water are so fortunate. Great job my friend.

  17. Joyce Olson says:

  22. Awesome job! Love the flamingos- they’re the cutest! I like the leaves down the center and your fruit bowl. The pineapple is so perfect for the florals- I wish I would remember to use fruit like that! I have those dishes too and love them- the little glitter in the finish is unique and gives them extra flair! Your island location sounds wonderful. Seeing the palm trees in the background surely speaks of an island tropical lifestyle!

OOOOOOOOOO Jenna, what a lovely tropical tablescape, with all my favorite things: flamingos, pineapples and the Gulf in the background. I love the centerpieces you made from the pineapple. Using the pineapple base as a vase and then using the crown for an accent in another piece. How clever. Thanks for sharing.
