Tablescapes, Poolside Picnic

This corner of the deck is the ideal cozy spot for a little poolside picnic

When it was time for a larger table for the upper porch, this one was relocated to the pool deck

It’s a nice place to chill out and watch the action in the pool or at the BBQ grill

Today it’s time for a picnic under the sunny blue skies

There’s usually a lovely breeze by noon and this corner of the deck is shady in the afternoon

The lobster enjoyed an oversized seashell martini

He’s guarding it closely with his claw!

He’s joined by some crabby mugs and lots of coastal things

I have become addicted to Melamine plates, so many cute ones and reasonably priced…

Everyone loves the silly signs

Less than a hour after I took these photos, it started raining and hasn’t stopped for 2 days!  Luckily I moved our picnic inside pronto…

Rain rain, go away, please bring back some sunny days!

What a fun tablescape! Hope the rain stops!

Love that table and chairs, and what a great tablescape. Yes, melamine plates are the bomb (except in the microwave, then they’re like candles melting, lol). We’ve had a lot of rain this past week, and the 15 day forecast looks much the same. More like spring than summer weather here!

Some melanine goes into the microwave fine. I just don’t push my luck with long settings.

I’m loving your poolside picnic and table Jenna, those plates are perfect for coastal living and so colorful too! Love your fun signs and hurray for a table in the shade. We’re finally getting some much needed rain…it’s been all around us, then poof, it diverts and goes east or west.

  4. Jenna, what a perfect poolside table in the shade! Those melamine plates are too cute. I also love them for outdoors, no worries about breakage. Your signs are fun and I am sure topics for conversation. More rain for today, one area of our county has registered 8 inches since Tuesday. Looks like a soggy weekend ahead! Great day for reading and drinking coffee!😊☔️

Oh my goodness! I love your poolside picnic! Oh girl, if I lived there I would just flat out be sorry because you would find me piled up outside all day! LOL! Hugs and blessings, Cindy

What a perfect poolside picnic for two, Jenna! I’d be so happy to be a guest, and I’ll bring dessert!

  7. I especially love the pichic baskets and the wicker!

  8. I love the lobster’s giant martini on this colorful table Jenna! Really fun one!

  9. What a great area to set a smaller table. Love the rug underneath and all those cute beach signs, especially the one directing to FloraBama! Cute, so cute. I use Melamine a lot, especially on our veranda. No breaking worries. Sorry you have had so much rain, that doesn’t make for good picnics……..

    • The sun finally came out today! We’ve had the signs up for a long time, when the kids were in college we had Tuscaloosa and Oxford {Ole Miss} signs. The outdoor rugs are great, you can pressure wash them and they look brand new!

What a “cool” scene and accessories. I could see myself sitting there!

Great little area for dining and keeping track of the “grands” in the pool! Love the way you have it decorated: a colorful and happy space!

Great table and wonderful pool! How fun! Every time I see those awesome bead and shell forks, I want to make some! I think they are so cool. Glad the sun came out for you today. ☀️

What a fun, refreshing table I such a lovely setting. Love the centerpiece you put together — oh that lobster! He’d bee right at home with my Not So Crabby buffet and tablescape.
