Tablescapes, Sunny Pumpkins & Sunflowers

Last week I got very inspired by my talented Floral Friday friends, Pam, Mary, Shirley & Lidy
They post fabulous floral arrangements on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month. Click on their names above to visit their posts
They inspired me to go get some fall flowers and have some fall fun!
Come on in, I want to show you my arrangement
I headed to Trader Joe’s and chose a mixed bouquet of sunflowers, mums and gerber daisies, and added pumpkin stems, wheat, and golden alstromeria
There is a container of water tucked down inside the olive bucket to keep everything happy
It is so sunny and bright!
I don’t know what the botanical name for these mini pumpkins on stems, but I get them every autumn
Pretend you don’t see that smushed sunflower near the bottom…
Oh how I hope it gets a little cooler so I can make a batch of
Slow Cooker Vegetable Beer Cheese Chowder
As I write this post, the “real feel” temperature outside is 93 degrees, so it’s going to be awhile for the soup!
Faux sunflowers, pumpkins and gourds surround the base of the olive bucket
Across the room is a side chair with a Thankful Wreath pillow
And a butler offering up some pumpkin decor
Out on the patio we’re enjoying 2 large pumpkins until the time for carving arrives near Halloween
A planter full of pumpkins and mums in the driveway greets visitors when they arrive
Thanks for visiting today!

Thankful Wreath Pillow/available here

All other decor and tableware are things I’ve had for a while and no longer available

Right you were to go to Trader Joe’s for flowers. The selection is good and the price is right. Despite the warm temperatures, you’ve done a great job making it feel like fall.
thanks Linda!
That looks so beautiful! Don’t TJs have the best flowers? They’re always so healthy. The whole table is really pretty — very fall, and isn’t that the best?!
thanks Jeanie, yes their flowers are fresh and so reasonably priced!
Gorgeous arrangement!
thanks Sharon!
Jenna, thank you so much for the shout-out! I love your pretty fall arrangement and all of your autumn touches that you have added. I am so envious that I have to drive 60 miles to TJ’s for those amazing flowers! The chowder looks delicious. We are under a flash flood watch today!
thank you Pam, you ladies always inspire me!! I hope you’re not washing away!
Jenna, everything looks so fall perfect at your home. Love the outdoor planter and the front door wreath. Your floral arrangement is lovely with all the fall color. I never did get to B’ham and I am so anxious for a visit to TJ’s. I love those mini pumpkin stems every year too. Thanks for the inspiration.
Thank you Emily! I am spoiled with TJs only 10 minutes from my house 🙂
Love your display for fall. I’m so surprised that it is still so warm in your part of the world. CA has even had cooler temps than you do. I hope it shifts into fall weather for you very soon. You’ve inspired me to head to TJ’s and get some colorful blooms. So very pretty!!

It will be warm here until November, and our coldest months are Jan-March. Have fun at TJ’s!!
Jenna, everything looks beautiful! All of your Fall touches are perfect! The soups look yummy. Last week our temps were in the 90s. Today, it is in the 60s. Maybe the cooler temps are headed your way, too! Happy Fall!!!
Thank you Shannon, I had a lot of fun!
Hello Fall! Your flower arrangement is lovely. The weather has turned a little cooler and we had chili last night.. Love your big pumpkins and the soups sound delish. 🍂
Thank you Cyndi, I am looking forward to making chili too!
Thanks for the tip about buying flowers at Trader Joe’s! 💐🍂 I like to buy a bouquet for myself every now and then… yours looks beautiful! 🌻 Perhaps a painting is to come? 🎨💕
I buy myself flowers all the time, and TJs has great prices on them…yes, I need to paint them!
How beautiful! Even with 93 degree temps!!
thanks Jodi!
Jenna, I love your flower arrangement in your olive bucket! Your pretty fall wreath on your door is the perfect fall welcome. How I wish I had a TJ’s near me, the nearest one is an hour away now that we’re at the lake. I don’t know the botanical name for the cute little pumpkins, but they’re called…wait for it…pumpkin tree stems 🙂 I am beyond ready for fall temps, sweater and soup/chili weather! ♥
Pumpkin tree stems, of course! 🙂
Looks like you’re getting in the fall spirit Jenna! I’d like to see some good soup weather too! Enjoy the pumpkins:@)
thanks Lynn, rainy and dreary today, I just might have to make some soup!
Thank You for sharing your lovely Fall display. Very nice.
Marion
Thank you Marion!
I love your dishes. The pumpkins are cute.
Marilyn
Thanks Marilyn, those plates are one of my very favorites 🙂
Jenna, your table setting and that floral arrangement look very inviting, and those soups look delish! Especially today is a good day for soups here because we’re having rain and our coolest day yet – it’s only 61° at 2:30 pm! It’s jeans, long-sleeves, socks, slipper and soup weather!
Oh my, that must have really put you in the fall mood! Thanks Rita!
I always hear how good Trader Joe’s is, wish I had one near us. I’m so curious about that store! Your flower arrangement is wonderful, I love it!
Thank you Christine, Trader Joe’s is a fun place to shop, I always end up with a cart full, but they’re prices are great! I bet you have cool stores that we don’t have 🙂
What a great table, I love your pumpkins and sunflowers! Thanks so much for sharing with us at Full Plate Thursday and have a great week!

Lovely arrangement! I wish I had a Trader Joe’s nearby. Your foodie items look so yummy. I like that hayrack style outside planter with the pumpkins and mums. 93 degrees! Yikes- we have cooled off here significantly. We’ve been in the 50’s for days but are going to warm up to 70 tomorrow.
Thank you Liz, yes having a TJs close by is a treat! Yes, we are tired of hot weather but at least we don’t have to deal with snow in the winter! Your weather sounds lovely right now!
