Creations, Decoupage Memory Box

I know Valentine’s day is so yesterday,

but it is still February,

and I had an idea about how I could enjoy my Valentine cards all year long

I found this wood cube in the craft section of Target and decided to decoupage parts of the cards on it

I cut some pieces and shapes out of a few of the cards, and left some whole

I painted the cube black with chalkboard paint, thinking I could add further embellishments on the black parts not covered with a chalk paint pen

Once the paint is dry, the fun begins!

Both cards {above and below} were handmade

so they were decoupaged on with out changing them

I used cut out parts of the cards that were too big to fit

and to add interest

Text pieces and sweet photos

Once it was dry I added a few XOs

There wasn’t much room, I was able to cover most of the 6″ cube

I am going to enjoy my Valentines all year round 💕

Thank you my friends for all the beautiful Valentines!

💕 ❤️ 🌺 🌹 💕

  11. You got VERY pretty cards and I love the idea of doing the deco on the box. It’s a nice size, too — Good storage for all that small stuff that somehow ends up on the desk!
