Fearless Friday on Thursday, Red Rose

Fearless Friday is early this week
because tomorrow I will be traveling
with my fellow Tales of the Traveling Tote group,
be sure to stop by for the fun and a giveaway!
Roses are not only one of my very favorite flowers,
They are a favorite subject to draw and paint
Today we are going to draw a rose, step by step
A complicated subject,
broken down into small steps,
becomes a much simpler task!
Thank you for drawing with me today!
I hope you will give this a try…
Be Fearless!

Thank you for the bouquet and step-by-step process Jenna! Looking forward to being an armchair traveler tomorrow. ♥
thank you Mary!
Jenna, what a beautiful yellow and pink bouquet! I will be looking forward to the traveling series tomorrow!
thank you Pam 🙂
It works! Mine doesn’t have quite the panache but for a first time it almost looks like a rose. Trym try again! Fun!
So glad you tried it Jeanie!
Glorious roses!
thanks Sharon!

thank you Jodi!
Love these posts so much. Thank you Jenna and have a great trip!
Thanks Johanne!
I tried Jenna, I really tried and one rose looked kinda ok but a little lopsided. A bouquet on the other hand…well, I just won’t go there. Thanks for you instructions…love these posts.
Ha, you might like it tomorrow, often things I don’t like at first I change my mind when I look at it the next day! Keep practicing!
Your drawings and paintings are always lovely. Love the big bouquet. See you tomorrow….

thanks Jill!
In the beginning I thought you were going to paint an elephant’s trunk!
😂
Beautiful roses, Jenna!! 😍
Love your step by step too.
💗🌹❤️
thank you~
You make it look so simple! I am amazed. You almost convince me that even I could try it and it might turn out half way looking like a rose. You are a great teacher. Lovely paintings.
Thank you Cyndi, give it a try!
Oh, my gosh! I tried it Jenna and I am shocked that it turned out much better than I ever thought it would! But it is only your very excellent step-by-step drawing that has allowed me to even come close to a rose. Thanks so much! This is coming from a girl whose “stick people” are her best accomplishment in art! Lol
I am so glad you tried it Cyndi!! Keep it up, drawing is just like anything else, the more you practice, the better you’ll get!
You make this look so easy! I am going to try this. Like you, I love roses, and this looks absolutely beautiful. It will be interesting to see what mine looks like. I’ll keep you posted.
Let me know how it turns out! Have fun!
