March is such a fun month,

Mardi Gras this year, and St. Patrick’s Day,

AND Spring!

As a nod to both holidays and the beginning of a fresh season,

I chose golden lemons to be highlighted this March

The flavor of the month is Lemon 🍋

Instead of making Cannoli Cupcakes I made Lite Cannoli Dip

 

 

Lemon Parmesan Garlic Orzo with Asparagus from the Recipe Critic inspired Lemon Orzo with Asparagus & Prosciutto

 

Waldorf Salad from Miz Helen’s Country Cottage got an update with vanilla Greek yogurt for the dressing

Modern Waldorf Salad

 

 

Pimiento Cheese Creamed Spinach from Southern Living was the inspiration for Spinach & Pimiento Cheese Gratin

 

 

Pan Fried Kale Ribbons with Garlic from the Painted Apron archives, if you think you don’t like kale, try this easy recipe, it just might change your mind!

 

 

Instead of making Chinese BBQ Pork from A Family Feast I made a family favorite Chinese Take-out Ribs

 

Chili Cheese Grits Super Supper Bowl was inspired by Meatless Mexican Chili and Cheddar Grits Super Bowls from Tasty Kitchen

This dish was a viewer favorite on Full Plate Thursday at Miz Helen’s Country Cottage

 

 

I didn’t get a chance to make Baked Potato Stuffed with Grilled Vegetables from the Cozy Apron, but I highly recommend trying Broccoli & Cheese Smothered Potato Boats
