Holidays, St. Patrick’s Day and Spring Chick Baskets
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! ☘️
Today is CC’s 6th birthday!
We celebrated yesterday with a birthday party at a dance studio,
she had so much fun and even the boys joined in
Sequined baseball caps and jazz glasses
I also have 3 really good friends who have birthdays this week
This year they’re getting “Spring Chick” baskets

I went to my favorite store, HomeGoods, to see what I could find…
HomeGoods is always a treasure trove
I spotted this little chickadee first…
Too cute to resist!
I already had 1 basket at home, plus a green citrus candle and a rainbow scarf, so all I did was add a healthy snack, and she was ready for giving~
For my other 2 friends, I made them identical baskets, finding green and gold things in the store and the irresistible white chicks with flower headbands
HomeGoods has wonderful baskets
I loved these handled baskets with the white accents
I lined their baskets with a pretty white kitchen towel
Then filled them with a bottle of liquid lemon hand soap,
cheese crisps, pistachio nuts, quinoa puffs
and a package of lucky napkins
If you put these together in your cart as you shop,
You can see if there are enough things to fill the basket
and see how it all looks together
Plants or flowers make a great filler too, as in this Baby Shower Basket
This St. Patrick’s Day basket is going to CC’s family
The 2 friends, {that are getting identical baskets} and I have an annual birthday tradition, we always do our birthdays at the same restaurant together, mine in December and theirs in March…I can’t tell you how much fun we have!
Last year they got Birthday Bottles and loved them
So next time you need a gift, think basket!
