Tablescapes, Oink Oink

It’s a Piggy Palooza!

It all started when I fell in love with the tin MKC farm animals

Last Spring I fell hard for the MKC pink tin pig

Polka dot ears on the front,

striped on the back matching his feet and tail

Then last fall,

I bought his sophisticated ceramic black striped cousin

when he went on sale

Early this year, I went to my favorite Piggly Wiggly store…

{Yes, we have a grocery chain called Piggly Wiggly}

It has a fantastic themed gift corner

For Christmas it was full of fabulous gnomes

And for Valentine’s Day,

It was full of pigs!

Yep, Piggly Wiggly was selling pigs!

You can’t make this stuff up 😂

And I was a goner!

I had to have the large galvanized planter

Nor could I resist the one with the black face

or the pink snout snack bowl

And of course I had to have the pig with wings

Plus a few others from Hob Lob

I had 2 pig plates with radishes

and found 2 more cuties at Hobby Lobby

And then I had to paint pig glasses

It is quite the Piggy Party!

My piggies are eating healthy with lots of fresh vegetables

They’re steering clear of the Bacon Press!

The pigs are so cute from any angle

with their sweet curly tails!

There is even a flat galvanized pig

and a red pig serving dish which I gave to HHjr for his birthday

he LOVES it!

Chef Pig is ready to prepare his asparagus,

Salad and artichokes

Let’s toast to The Year of the Pig!

I guess you could say I went Hog Wild!

By the way,

I have lots of cute piggy items in my Society 6 Shop,

3/21-3/23 Everything is 30% off!

So be sure to take a look!

  1. Yep, that is quite the piggy palooza Jenna! Cute stuff, I used to shop at Piggly Wiggly when I was stationed in Arkansas. Being young and poor I distinctly remember lots of 33¢/lb chicken legs… We don’t have them in Philly. Happy Year of the Pig:@)

    • This particular Pig store has a fabulous wine cellar with great prices so I go there to stock up…they have a great butcher too and LOW prices…which of course does me no good when I blow the savings in the gift dept!

  2. Nancy says:

Oh how adorable your tablescape and collection is! But love the Piggies on the wine glasses!

  3. Rita C. says:

    Pig out in style!
We have a Piggly Wiggly on Bigley (Ave). The commercials are great. “…at your Bigley Piggly Wiggly…”

  4. creationsbycindyphotography.blogspot.com says:

Well just look at your little oinkers! Love them and love the table. So stinking adorable. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

  5. Michelle says:

These are all so cute!! I just love pigs!! 🐷

  6. Kari says:

I love your piggies Jenna…so cute and your use of them is adorable. I sat a pig table last year and had such fun doing it, so I can imagine your fun at setting your many and various piggies on your table. I’ve been to Piggly Wiggly and can vouch for their variety but alas, we don’t have one here in SW Florida that I am aware of. We are the Winn Dixie and Publix capital, although we are getting World Foods. Our Trader Joe’s is still over 30 miles away. Sigh

    • This particular “Pig” as the locals call the store, is one of their high end stores with a gourmet butcher and fabulous wine selection as well as the gift corner. I love to shop there, but just like HomeGoods, I have to limit my visits, too many temptations!

  7. You made my day Jenna with your Piggies table!…and what?!!..Pigs for Valentine’s Day..well why not!…I can imagine you going Hog Wild at that gift corner at the “Wiggly” … Love the MCK piggies! Such a most fun table and thanks so much for the smiles today!!! Happy Spring Jenna!!

    • Thanks Shirley, they make me smile too! The Valentine’s Day display was really cute, frolicking pink piggies, hearts and flowers…I need to start taking pictures, whoever designs their displays is very talented…right now it’s full of llamas!

  8. Sharon Mann says:

    Love the piggies!

  9. I love your pig pillow and the whole idea that Piggly Wiggly was selling pigs! Your plates are darling!

  10. Bonnie Morgan says:

You had fun with this! Very cute.

  11. Cyndi Raines says:

Cute! Loved that they are staying away from the bacon press, haha. But I do love me some bacon! This northern girl cracked up when I lived in the south and saw the grocery store Piggly Wiggly. We just have boring grocery store names like Krogers and Meijer. Ha! 🐷

  12. Jenna, this table is too much fun! Your pig collection is really growing and they are such a cute bunch! Our only Piggly Wiggly sold to a local owner last year, but there was never a gift department or any specialty items just basic groceries! I will need to find your Piggly Wiggly next time I am down that way.

    • It’s actually very close to the Summit, right off I-459 at Liberty Park. They have really cute wreaths and all kinds of stuff! It’s one of their newer stores and is molded to a more sophisticated clientele being located in Mountain Brook/Liberty Park area

  13. thefrenchhutch says:

Oh Jenna, I love your piggy collection, especially your centerpiece. I fell in love with the piggy with stripes when I came to visit. I love your cute “piggy wit” in this post, adorable! I love Piggly Wiggly too……….

  14. What a great themed table…..you have a great collection, but I especially like your pillow! I saw the Piggly Wiggly owner’s home in Charleston and there were 2 large cement pigs flanking the entryway stairs!

  15. pattyanneart says:

    Oh, they are the cutest!!
    Love it❣️

  16. lulu says:

I smiled all the way through this post. Your piggies are great, every single one.

  17. Benita says:

I love, love, love your little piggies! They are absolutely adorable!! What a great tablescape! And yes, only in Alabama can you buy pigs at the Piggly Wiggly…LOL. In the little city I grew up in, we had a place that was a used car lot, tanning bed and video rental place all in one…no one ever believed me when I told them…LOL Hugs!

  18. Mary says:

Adorable Jenna! 🐷 Had to chuckle at ‘hog wild’ and I love your artistic rendering and painted glasses and cutting board /pillow! Your large galvanized planter would be adorable to serve pulled pork from for a crowd if it’s food safe!

  19. Kitty says:

I LOVE your Piggy Party, Jenna! I’m sure your grands love it, too. Your piggy goblets amde me smile, and yes, you did go “hog wild” in such a fun way.

  20. Carol says:

I’ve fallen in love with your pigs! The small plate of a piggy surrounded by green leaves is my fav but they all are adorable!

  21. What fun! These are so cute!

  22. Jill Kuhn says:

Hi Jenna, I especially love the galvanized pig planter! 🐷💕
All your table decor is so FAB! 💗

  23. kmommy843 says:

I love your unusual theme! I liked the radishes on the tiered tray.

  24. Miz Helen says:

Your little pigs are just the cutest things ever, such personality! Thanks for sharing with us at Full Plate Thursday and have a good week!
    Miz Helen

  25. Sandy K Park says:
