The Organized Life, June Paint Bucket

June is just around the corner,

Are you ready for a new season?

Things are already heating up in the South

so this month I want to make easy summer food

incorporating a ton of fresh fruits and vegetables,

but still family friendly

The flavor of the month is Ranch

psst, even if you’re not a fan of ranch salad dressing

Dry Ranch dressing mix is a wonderful way to add a little zip to just about anything,

like the very popular Ranch Monkey Muffins from the May Paint Bucket

You can see photos/links to the recipes below on

the Monthly Paint Bucket June section here

Appetizers

Bacon Crackers, original recipe

Waldorf Salad on a Stick from Hidden Valley Ranch

Broccoli Quesadillas from Food 52

Sides

Zucchini Slaw from Hidden Valley Ranch

Roasted Vegetable & Kale Salad Sticks from Hidden Valley Ranch

Fast & Fabulous Hashbrown Casserole, original recipe

Grilled Blue Cheese & Bacon Stuffed Onions from James & Everett

Main Dish

Crunchy Cheddar Chicken from Hidden Valley Ranch

Deep Dish Frito Pie from the Food Network

Strawberry Balsamic Chicken from Mountain Breaths

Asian Caramel Slow Cooker Pulled Pork with Pineapple Snow Pea Salsa from Carlsbad Cravings

Desserts

Key Lime Pie Martini from Home Cooking Memories

Raspberry Ripple Ice Cream from the Kitchenthusiast

Summer Berry No Bake Ice Box Cake from Cakes Cottage

Miscellaneous

The BEST Chicken Dipping Sauce from Cookies and Cups

Greek Yogurt Breakfast Bark from Go Eat Repeat

Sausage & Ranch Tater Tot Casserole from Plain Chicken

Here’s what I made from the May Paint Bucket

The theme for the month was Muffin Tin

recipes made in individual portions to suit the many May holidays

Corn Pudding Muffins from Julie’s Creative Lifestyle are so moist and delicious so I call my version Julie’s Creamy Corn Muffins

HHjr made delicious individual Fajita Salad bowls that combined Black Bean & Cheese Enchilada Cups from Southern Living and Taco Salad Cups from Damn Delicious, and the Creamy Corn Muffins were a perfect compliment

Cheddar Bacon Ranch Pull Apart Rolls from Love Bakes Good Cakes are very addicting and dangerously easy to make, I call mine Ranch Monkey Muffins, and they are perfect for pot lucks and summer cookouts

Roasted Corn Salad Cups were inspired by Pepita Kale Salad in Parmesan Cups from Brit + Co, made with a delicious bag salad and roasted corn, they are not only easy to make but a real crowd pleaser, a unique party appetizer that people will rave about!

This recipe was featured on Wonderful Wednesday on Oh My Heartsie Girl and Thursday Favorite Things on Katherine’s Corner

The leftover salad paired with BBQ pork made a fantastic BBQ Pork and Roasted Corn Salad Quesadilla!

Fruit Cheesecake Sugar Cookie Cups from Life, Love & Sugar turned into Lemon Berry Cheesecake Parfaits

These parfaits were featured on Thursday Favorite Things at Marilyn’s Treats

As usual it’s hard to pick a favorite from these recipes,

I LOVED everything!

but I think my favorite is the Roasted Corn Salad Cups

And in case you missed it, there is a tutorial for a summer centerpiece Flowering Watermelon Cactus here

Jenna, I love your paintings! AND those recipes! For some reason, we are stuck in rain mode here in Texas, which is unusual. We are having true Alabama weather…rain and high humidity! 🙂 Makes me feel like I’m back at home. 🙂 Your flamingos are adorable! Hugs!
