Tablescapes, Peonies in the Garden

I will be on the coast most of the summer, but before I left, I couldn’t resist treating myself to some peonies from Trader Joe’s

I know, right???

Deep pinks and big bright whites!

I began to dream they came in straight from my garden

I took some liberties here that I hope you’ll pardon

The peony blooms look a lot like the cactus blooms

I added hydrangea painted glassware

A sunhat, and flowers were blooming everywhere!

A white picket fence surrounds the vase

A little green frog helps keep it in place

A close look at the peonies from above

There is nothing here that I don’t just love!

Tell me now, what is your favorite flower

I’m afraid I’m fickle mine changes by the hour

Whatever’s in season, whatever’s in bloom

That’s what you’ll probably see in my room!

Thank you for stopping by!

  1. Jenna, your table and the peonies are both fabulous! I agree with you that my favorite flower is most affected by what the season is, now it is hydrangea season and I am loving
them. Enjoy summer at the beach!😎👒

  2. I’m a fickle florist too. My spring things are daffs, then peonies and pansies, then hydrangeas, zinnias and snapdragons! I’m not sure there is one I don’t like! Love the pink and white with your not-quite-sap-green china!

Oh Jenna, this is a favorite table from you! I love the sweet garden theme. Peonies are one of my favorite flowers. To me they look like I just stepped into my grandmother’s garden. I love how you added the plates and the little white picket fence and frog. Summer perfect! Enjoy the beach………

This is really lovely. I know where the chargers came from but would like to know where the plates and salad plates came from. Love the green.

Beautiful table, Jenna. I also love peonies, hydrangeas and tulips. I just wish tulips bloomed longer. I’d love to visit while you are on the coast.

I adore peonies and because I can’t grow them and they are hard to come by I want them even more. However, I love all flowers perhaps too much.

Oh my, how beautiful! Love the sweet white picket fence, too cute! Peonies are just so lovely and I love hydrangeas too. My peonies did really great this year. I had 38 on one bush! Cut them all because a storm was coming, so I have vases full of peonies all over the house, ha. The storm never came. Lol

I love your ‘Peonies and the Garden’ table Jenna! I happened to be near a TJ’s about a month ago and was meeting a friend for lunch to celebrate her birthday. I bought an 3 bunches and stopped by HomeGoods for a vase to put them in. I wish I had a TJ’s closer to me!
