Creations, Christmas in July Life’s A Beach Tree

While putting away 4th of July things,

I decided to redecorate my little tree

At first I thought I would turn it into a mermaid tree,

but as I started looking around, I got a different idea

For a little Christmas in July

I decorated my tree with all kinds of funky, fishy, finds!

Mermaids yes, but lots of other beachy things…

A starfish garland, wooden fish and painted crab clothespins

Why not a fish switch plate cover and multiple stars

Big fish, small fish, floats, and a boat

Coconuts, flip flops

Crabs…

The crazier the better, big or small

Polka dots, paper umbrellas and sparkly things

A needlepoint door hanger and VW beach buses

Paper umbrellas

Even a blue wave margarita glass!

This was a ton of fun,

napkin rings, decorative objects and unexpected things turned into ornaments

Here’s another similar creation

A lantern centerpiece from Hot Pink Fun in the Summertime tablescape

A lantern is filled with painted sticks, funky flowers, and a beach chair

So shake things up a bit and have some fun,

Shop your house and see what crazy thing you can create!

All these things I’ve had for a while, gifts and collectibles over the years

The Pineapple pillow is available in my Society 6 Shop here and is available as a print or on lots of other items too

There are even  holiday versions!

Holiday Pineapples

Jenna, this is fun and playful! I packed up my patriotic things this past week, and now I’m slowly adding other summer colors. The heat has arrived so soft greens, blues, and corals are my choice of color. Your newly decorated tree is filled with whimsy, just as summer days should be!

I know your family enjoys your festive tree decorated for the seasons Jenna! It would keep me from feeling so ‘crabby’ in this heat and humidity, along with a margarita in your blue wave glass! 😉
