“Ohhh, that’s so pretty!” CC exclaimed
as she bounced up the stairs from the pool
Smiling, I said “Thank you!”
“What are you doing Gigi?” asked Charlie Brown
“I’m setting the table for dinner,” I replied
“Are we having a party?” asked CC
“No, I just thought it’d be nice to set a pretty table for dinner tonight”
“What’s that oar for?” asked Charlie Brown
“It’s just for decoration, part of the centerpiece” I said
“What’s a piece center?” he inquired
“Hey you know what?
I think your Mom has your lunch all ready for you,
why don’t you go inside and check…”
“Can I eat it out here Gigi?”
