Jenna, Iβve always admired your veggie dishes, I love how the black background makes the graphics pop! Your centerpiece with your tomato can makes the perfect vase for your medley of veggies and cheery sunflowers. Sunflower tomato pie sounds intriguing and delicious, Iβll be back for a slice! Weβre in the triple digits too this week, Iβm ready for an arctic blast! ο As always itβs a treat to blog hop with you. π½οΈπ»π»β€οΈ
Thank you Mary, I do love our tablescape hops!
Jenna, So creative and happy. Stunning centerpiece! I love the large tomato can and thanks for the source. The tomatoes have been wonderful this year and it is sad to see them go. Your dishes and hand-painted glasses have such personality! All your pictures are so good! I was noticing your lovely chairs and those great doors off your foyer but I get off track. The black and white checked tablecloth framed your table so well. I can taste your delicious tomato pie!
Thank you Bonnie! The foyer is one of the largest rooms in the house and it gets used for all kinds of things, I’m hoping to set a table for 24 in there for the holidays~and with the white walls and black rug, I can use about any colors I want. I really enjoyed the sunflower arrangement in there and we ate the tomatoes the other night π
Jenna, I agree with Mary, I have always loved your veggie plates and they are perfect for a late summer table. The tomato can is a fun vase to hold the happy sunflowers. Your painted tomato glasses round out your beautiful table with the black and white checked cloth as a foundation.
I canβt wait for the sunflower tomato pie recipe, sounds delicious. I am ready for a break with these temps, our heat index was 111 yesterday. We did get rain late last night, which my garden appreciates. Happy Wednesday π»π π»
Thank you Pam! Can you believe I got those plates on Amazon years ago! They have a huge selection of plates! Yes the heat has been brutal this week, I have been staying in the AC as much as possible π
Oh those BEAUTIFUL tomatoes! I want a piece of that PIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is there anything prettier than a big fat summer tomato??
Jenna, what a colorful and beautifully arranged table! Sit me down on any of those place settings and I’ll clean my plate, I promise! I can’t blame you one bit for taking the setting inside, but one thing’s for sure, the heat makes those tomatoes taste even better! Love your centerpiece and all the bounty surrounding it. Can’t wait to see the pie recipe!
Thanks Rita! It was fun setting the table, enjoying the flowers and eating the tomatoes just the other night!
Sunflower tomato pie? Sounds delicious! Late summer absolutely means tomatoes to harvest and how creative your tomato can vase is! I can see why you love those vegetable plates, they are beautiful! Thank you for joining in another hop and sharing your table styling talents with us!
Thanks so much Chloe!!
Oh, my! I love your veggie plates, I’ve never seen any like them. Your produce themed table is perfect for this time of year. The tomato can that you scored from Costco makes a great centerpiece container. That along with your flowers and veggies makes such a pretty table.
Thank you Paula, I got the can a long time ago {as in years} for some photos, and it was gathering dust in my pantry so I finally decided to put it to use!
I love your tablescape with garden veggies and bright summer sunflowers! I created something similar in my breakfast nook for late summer. I just love the colors of produce! The bouquet in the can is gorgeous, and I love those plates too. Everything looks yummy and beautiful!
So happy to join you this week for the hop. Have a happy rest of summer!
Thank you Amber and I did see you breakfast nook post, loved it!!
Hi Jenna, gorgeous fun summer tablescape! Love those bright deep harvesty colors with the black/white check. My fave is that fabulous large tomato can vase! Your foyer is wonderful! Thanks so much for coming over and linking up to the new party!!
Thank you Debra!
I am such a sucker for sunflowers and blooms in a vintage can. This looks fabulous — the whole table does! And of course adding to that your delicious food and I promise, I will be over the moon!
Oh sweet, thanks Jeanie!
Beautifully styled table Jenna. The veggie plates are lovely and so different. A very cute idea using the tomato can for your sunflowers. A happy table to sit down and enjoy. I love tomatoes, especially home grown with their amazing flavor. Great choice with the black and white checked tablecloth. You have inspired me to buy one. I am curious about your sunflower tomato pie.
Thank you! I have used the black and white checked cloth often Linda, so perfect for our love of MKC!
Jenna, what a wonderful table for summer through early fall entertaining — and your planned dish is perfect to accompany the setting. I’m a huge fan of black and white and the tablecloth was a great backdrop for the tableware. The square plates and tomato glasses have me green with envy! Can’t get over that you painted them yourself! Found that out when I looked to see where you had gotten them. That sent me over to your excellent tutorial I’ve pinned and hope to try.
Thank you π tomatoes are actually easy peasy, have fun Debbee!!
While looking at this beautiful setting I immediately thought of the song, “I Went to a Garden Party” With the farmers’ markets in full swing you chose the perfect decor. Those veggie plates are scene stealers for sure!
Thank you Sandra!! so nice π
Jenna, I certainly fell in love with your tablescape. I adore black and white checked tablecloths especially when it is paired up with all of your bright and beautiful veggie plates, juicy tomatoes and sunny and cheerful sunflowers. I feel like I am dancing in my garden packed full of lovely home grown veggies. Your table is pure sunshine! I love your use of a tomato can vase to hold your sunflowers. So adorable and certainly radiates summer and its happiest pleasures.
Thank you Marsha, this table just about set itself, once I had the sunflowers and tomatoes it just all came together π I’ve really enjoyed the sunshine the sunflower arrangement brought to my home!
I love these colors! Such a fun table and so welcoming! I love it on the buffalo plaid tablecloth! It really makes the centerpiece pop! This inspires me so much!
Thank you, black and white checks are my favorite!
I love this table!!!! It is so full of color and garden goodness!! Your sunflower/tomato centerpiece is fantastic!!! It just looks fabulous against the black buffalo check which makes those wonderful veggie plates stand out. This is one of my all time favorites!! Kudos Jenna!!!
wow, thank you Ann, what a special comment from one of my fellow tablescapers!!
What an awesome tablescape and so colorful too! The tablecloth is perfect for those colorful dishes and pretty sunflowers. This makes me hungry for corn on the cob and BLT’S with those beautiful tomatoes. I’ll be back to check out that recipe. π
Hi Cyndi, yes summer corn on the cob and BLTs with summer tomatoes are 2 of my very favorite things too! Thank you!
Yes, sad that summer’s almost over… but your spread looks fantastic!
