Here’s what I made from the September Paint Bucket

The flavor of the month was Maple

 

I combined 2 recipes on the list, Maple Bacon Donuts from Will Cook for Smiles   and Puff Pastry Cinnamon Rolls with Maple Icing from Brown Sugar to create these irresistible danishes

Butternut Squash and Maple Bacon Pancakes from Chef Mimi were the inspiration for this delicious salad which was featured on Full Plate Thursday at Miz Helen’s Country Cottage

Creamy Parm Tomato Soup from Delish was the inspiration for Tomato Tortellini Stoup, perfect fall comfort food

 

 

Slow Cooker Cashew Chicken from The Recipe Critic  got rave reviews from my grandsons who loved the chicken

I added baby carrots and increased the sauce amounts so there would be plenty to serve this over rice or noodles

My favorite was the Roasted Butternut & Bacon Salad,

I will be making that often,

and also making the maple butternut squash to serve as a side dish

  1. Jenna, I have thoroughly enjoyed September’s flavor of maple and look forward to October’s “Halloween”! Since I love risotto, the pumpkin risotto with goat cheese, pancetta, and cranberries sounds divine. Happy Sunday!
