Tablescapes, Tabletop Tulip Garden

I popped into Trader Joe’s last week
It was like a trip to the Netherlands,
There were tulips everywhere!
At $5 a bunch I scooped up 3, pink, red, and apricot
It’s supposed to be a very cold week
I don’t like gray days when the weather is bleak
It’s not going to feel gray and dreary around here
This table full of tulips will add color and cheer!
I even surrounded them with colorful bottle brush trees
Bright warm colors, yes please!
The plate stack is made with warm terra cotta and lime
With colorful glasses for water and wine
Painted chargers with colorful fruit
A pink floral runner the color of grapefruit
I placed mini tulip paintings on top of the plates
I know Spring will come soon, but it’s so hard to wait…
Until then I will gaze upon colorful flowers
Mini lights sparkle in the dark hours!
I hope you can stay cozy and warm this week,
Brighten your day in a colorful way!

What a beautiful delight! Such a happy table that shines all day through and through while the sun hides outside. This is my kind of table!
Thanks Nancy! 🌷
Lovely! Nothing like fresh flowers to chase away the winter blues.
Yes! It is sunny today but it is COLD! Thanks Carole!
C’mon, get happy! That’s so happy!
Thanks Rita!
Oh Jenna, this table makes me smile this morning! It is so happy and cheerful. It’s the perfect thing to brighten a dreary winter’s day with its beautiful tulips and pretty details. It has me dreaming of spring, flowers, and warmer days. Happy Sunday!!!
Thank you Shannon, I’m not a big fan of winter, so I guess I’m pretending it’s not!
Spring has arrived early at The Painted Apron.
I know, I couldn’t help it 🤭 I’m not a winter lover…
Absolutely gorgeous! Super cheerful for dreary days. 🙂
Thanks Robin!!
I didn’t realize it, but I NEED TULIPS!
haha, they really do bring a happy mood!
Oh this post is just what we need here with all the grey weather we’ve had. Your colorful tulips are just what the doctor ordered. Great place setting stack and clever idea to top with the paintings. I think this area in your home is perfect for setting a table. I was in TJ’s last week, came to a luncheon with our travel group so you know I had to pop in there. I had to get the sweet little clay pots of Iris and of course daffodils! Now I wish I’d gotten tulips too!!!!
Thank you Emily! I just couldn’t resist the tulips and I bought a pink hyacinth bulb too…flowers make a house so happy, and of course you had to get some of your favorite daffodils! Stay warm this week!
Tulips are my favorite.💚Your table and artwork are all so beautiful, Jenna!! 🧡😊💗
thanks Patty Anne, they are a favorite of mine too!
A very perky table for what was a very cold (and a bit snowy) weekend here:@)
thanks Lynn, 25 here this morning 🥶!
Your colorful tulips make for such a cheery table and sight for a cold winter week Jenna! The nearest TJ’s is a two hour round trip for me…*sniff*. I keep hoping they’ll expand and come a little closer to me. Stay warm this week ♥
I am spoiled TJs is so close to me, I couldn’t believe all the tulips they had so early in the season! I bought a hyacinth bulb too because I enjoyed the amaryllis so much {it’s still blooming!!} and the hyacinth in growing inches every day!
Love your vibrant table Jenna. The colors of the tulips are gorgeous. The table is so cheerful and fun. With your lovely artwork, everything is so perfect together. Thank you for sharing at Love Your Creativity.
thank you Linda!
Totally love the painting for inspiration—does make you want to run out and buy tulips…Gorgeous post!

Jenna, the tulips are so colorful and happy looking! What I would give to have a TJ’s here. I haven’t been to Birmingham since before Christmas and there are no tulips here. Your table just sings, it makes the cold weather bearable! ❤️
thanks Pam, the tulips really make the whole house happy!
The tulips are gorgeous! I would be thrilled to have some.
Your tablescape is delightful. How special just to be able to paint pictures to coordinate with your table.
Stay warm. It’s cold even here. It is 25 degrees.
Thank you Bonnie, the tulip paintings I did a while ago, and it was fun to incorporate them into the table…yes, too cold in Alabama this week!! 🥶
Hi Jenna, what a burst of amazing Spring color!!! just beautiful! Trader Joe’s is long overdue in our area. I’d so love to have one accessible. The flowers are just one aspect, I’d be living there if one were to show up. LOVE the chargers and all the wonderful cheery color!
Thanks Debra! I know I am lucky because TJs is only 10 minutes from my house and my favorite 2 grocery stores have great flowers too…I’ve got to have fresh flowers, they add so much!
I need some tulips. I crave them and haven’t seen some good ones like this. These look just fabulous with that tablecloth. And especially in that tall white pitcher. Love this setting more than I can say, especially on this snowing morning!
Thanks Jeanie, I am currently wrapped in a blanket, it’s cold in the South too!! The tulips are helping keep me happy 🌷🥶🌷
