Tablescapes, Tabletop Tulip Garden

I popped into Trader Joe’s last week

It was like a trip to the Netherlands,

There were tulips everywhere!

At $5 a bunch I scooped up 3, pink, red, and apricot

It’s supposed to be a very cold week

I don’t like gray days when the weather is bleak

It’s not going to feel gray and dreary around here

This table full of tulips will add color and cheer!

I even surrounded them with colorful bottle brush trees

Bright warm colors, yes please!

The plate stack is made with warm terra cotta and lime

With colorful glasses for water and wine

Painted chargers with colorful fruit

A pink floral runner the color of grapefruit

I placed mini tulip paintings on top of the plates

I know Spring will come soon, but it’s so hard to wait…

Until then I will gaze upon colorful flowers

Mini lights sparkle in the dark hours!

I hope you can stay cozy and warm this week,

Brighten your day in a colorful way!

Oh this post is just what we need here with all the grey weather we’ve had. Your colorful tulips are just what the doctor ordered. Great place setting stack and clever idea to top with the paintings. I think this area in your home is perfect for setting a table. I was in TJ’s last week, came to a luncheon with our travel group so you know I had to pop in there. I had to get the sweet little clay pots of Iris and of course daffodils! Now I wish I’d gotten tulips too!!!!

    • Thank you Emily! I just couldn’t resist the tulips and I bought a pink hyacinth bulb too…flowers make a house so happy, and of course you had to get some of your favorite daffodils! Stay warm this week!

Your colorful tulips make for such a cheery table and sight for a cold winter week Jenna! The nearest TJ’s is a two hour round trip for me…*sniff*. I keep hoping they’ll expand and come a little closer to me. Stay warm this week ♥

    • I am spoiled TJs is so close to me, I couldn’t believe all the tulips they had so early in the season! I bought a hyacinth bulb too because I enjoyed the amaryllis so much {it’s still blooming!!} and the hyacinth in growing inches every day!

Hi Jenna, what a burst of amazing Spring color!!! just beautiful! Trader Joe’s is long overdue in our area. I’d so love to have one accessible. The flowers are just one aspect, I’d be living there if one were to show up. LOVE the chargers and all the wonderful cheery color!
