Home Decor, St. Patrick’s Day Centerpiece & March Ideas

With March 1st just a few days away,

I think we are all thinking Spring and Green!

St. Patrick’s day is a favorite holiday around here,

it’s CC’s birthday!

I got out my stash of St. Patrick’s Day things

and a long white box with moss and bottles

I played around, filling the bottles with gold balls,

faux forsythia, St. Patrick’s Day flags, a hat and pots of gold

It’s fun to take what you have and create something new

I scattered the moss with more gold balls, shamrocks and coins

and used masking tape under the hat and pots of gold to hold them in place

This long low box is fun to fill with various things

It can be easily transported to a sideboard for decor

or a table for a centerpiece

Right now it is on the bar with some other shamrock and green things

I can easily move it to a table for a St. Patrick’s Day centerpiece later

I love to put seasonal touches on the secretary shelves

on the opposite side of the room

Green and gold things, and moss balls, and a photograph from a special friend

And the mini lights come on just as it’s getting dark

to light up this dark corner

Time to think Green ☘️!

  1. Happy Birthday to CC!
Love the filled wooden box.I have one in wood tone that I may need to think about painting. It’s so festive looking! I would never have thought to include forsythia with St Paddy’s decorations.

CC couldn’t be any more adorable, Jenna. You guys have several holiday birthdays among your family! My oldest’s is typically the first day of Spring, depending on the sun’s position from year to year. I am also thinking green, both inside and out! I’ve had at least four different tables set in my dining area over the course of the last week. Yes, I am definitely thinking green!

  3. CC is so cute! I love your box and how you have filled it with all things St. Patty’s Day. It will be a wonderful table centerpiece. I am also thinking green and hopefully no rain for a few days. Happy Wednesday!

  4. I think I need a long skinny box! It looks terrific. Versatile for other purposes and delightful what you have here!

  5. Lots of little nooks and crannies for the leprechauns to hide!

Such a cute little tray filled with all kinds of cute St. Patrick’s decorations! I should be sharing my tiered tray, but it is still looking a little empty, I definitely need more St. Patrick’s day decor!
