Recipe Box, Grab the Peanut Butter!

If you could only live on one food for your whole life it what would you choose?

Mine would be peanut butter hands down!

One of my favorite recipes is  1-2-3 peanut butter cookies

Three ingredients, that you probably have in your pantry right now,

1 cup sugar, 1 egg, and 1 cup peanut butter

{you can use chunky or smooth}

In less than 15 minutes, you will have delicious cookies!

I may or may not have eaten one of these cookies for breakfast…

Speaking of breakfast, these Peanut Butter Power Balls

will get your day started the right way

Have you tried the peanut butter substitute PB2?

It’s widely available or you can order it from Amazon here

It has all the flavor of peanut butter without the fat and the calories

It makes a wonderful oatmeal

Look for it in the peanut butter section of your store

If you’re a fan of peanut butter and jelly try Peanut Butter and Jelly Granola for a breakfast treat

For lunch I love peanut butter on celery sticks,

and for a comfort version I often make Peanut Butter Soup

You can use peanut butter or PB2 in the soup, or a combination of both

I love salad for lunch or dinner and this Asian Salad Stack is full of goodies

and dressed with a spicy peanut butter sesame dressing

Sesame Peanut Noodles are a nice change from potatoes for a side dish

Pair them with Sweet and Sour Chicken,  Asian Short Ribs or grilled teriyaki steak

Spring Roll Wraps make a wonderful vegetarian meal,

or you can add cooked chicken, shrimp or pork

Of course we can’t forget dessert!

 Peanut Butter Fool

Peanut Butter Mousse Minis

OMG This Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie!

So…if you’re out of ideas,

Grab the peanut butter!

I have a cookie monster here and we both know who he is! And, his favorite has to be peanut butter cookies so I’ve already saved the recipe. Who knew, wow, so many good ideas for peanut butter! You know how I love salads and the Asian Salad Stack sounds like one I would love to try not to mention that pie. Thanks for all the ideas Jenna…….

Jenna, we are kindred spirits when it comes to peanut butter. I adore anything peanut butter! I’m going to have to make a batch of these cookies. My family adores peanut butter cookies, and these look easy to make. Thanks for sharing!

  3. Thanks to you I just added peanut butter to my instacart order. I don’t know if I should be grateful or not! They look delish!

Oh my gosh! I just ate an apple with peanut butter on each section! YUM! Great minds think alike! I eat peanut butter on celery also so that soup has me intrigued, will need to try it. The cookies and mousse minis look heavenly as well as the chocolate peanut butter pie. My mouth is watering! 😋 Thanks Jenna!

I love the peanut butter themed food. The cookies sound so yummy! My daughter made chocolate chip blondies the other day. It seems everyone is baking a lot lately. Thanks for all of the recipes.
I am featuring the bike drawing on my blog on Friday. I hope you will stop by my blog to see it.

  8. Jenna, I also love peanut butter and I have made the 1-2-3 cookies. I think I will make them and I might add Nutella. Thanks for all of the peanut butter recipes. Stay safe tomorrow!

I could happily live with a few things to sustain me : 1) Coffee and Half & Half. 2) Peanut Butter and a spoon. Actually the spoon is not necessary until the end of the jar when my finger no longer reaches the peanut butter. Did you know that Jif used to make peanut powder too, nothing but peanuts in it? I bought it by the dozens and used it in many ways; added to smoothies, added to Benjamin’s oatmeal for extra protein without extra sugar, and in baking/cooking. I do not know why the company discontinued it, I was devastated. Then there was Peter Pan Simply Ground Honey Roast Peanut Butter, smooth met crunchy with finely ground peanuts. Oh my stars, I could eat the whole jar…nothing else required. Sadly, it too went with the unicorns…disappeared from stores and now online too! So it is back to Jif smooth again, or these days whichever brand is sitting on the store shelves! You have provided some mighty fine sounding recipes and I am grateful. So, I will put my spoon down and start cooking! Thank-YOU! Stay well and be safe!

    • Oh no, I’m so sorry some of your favorites have disappeared! I had a favorite soup {Campbell’s Cream of Corn} that I loved to use for cooking and eating, but it was only available for about a year, dear Campbells, bring it back! As for peanut butter, I only buy Jif, don’t like the natural stuff…Anyway, it’s wonderful to hear from a fellow peanut butter lover, thanks Ellen!
