The Organized Life, July Paint Bucket

Happy July!

My blog anniversary is coming up on August 1…

I have posted over 1,000 recipes in the past 8 years

and so many are favorites worth repeating,

I have decided to include more of them on my monthly Paint Bucket

like this Watermelon Ice Cream Pie

After looking over the recipes that caught my eye this month,

the common thread seems to be fruit, soooo…

The flavor/theme of the month is Summer Fruit!

You can get the links and see photos of these recipes

on the Monthly Paint Bucket Pinterest Board here

Appetizers

Cheese Stars new recipe from the Painted Apron

I will never be able to make all these, but don’t they all sound great?

Here’s what I made from the June Paint Bucket

The flavor of the month was Corn

Summer Surprise Flatbread

An unlikely combo of corn, bacon asparagus and strawberries, and it’s delicious!

3 Cheese Zucchini & Corn Pie was adapted from Sweet Corn and Zucchini Pie from Pinch of Yum

The Best Corn Casserole from Plain Chicken inspired me to re-share a family favorite, a perfect summer side

Maple Bourbon Corn Gratin

Taco & Corn Stuffed Summer Squash Boats from Smile Sandwich inspired

Sausage & Veggie Squash Boats {yes there’s corn in there!}

And Sausage & Veggie Crescent Square Appetizers

BBQ Chicken Tacos with Ranch Corn Slaw from Half Baked Harvest were my inspiration for

BBQ Chicken Tacos with Broccoli Pineapple Slaw

No Bake Creamsicle Cheesecake from Olla-Podrida turned into Creamsicle Cheesecake in a Jar

Ready to grab and go on summer days!

It was one of the most clicked recipes on Full Plate Thursday at Miz Helen’s Country Cottage

I made a huge mess of my attempt at a Pineapple Coconut Cake, so I tried to regain my confidence with

Butterscotch Toffee Blondies

And Salted Chocolate Chip Pecan Bars

It’s always hard to pick a very favorite,

but just between you and me

the Butterscotch Toffee Blondies are on my list of very favorites!

AND

You might want to make this fun Corn on the Cob Cake

for your summer festivities!

Thanks for cooking with me today!
