Happy December,
one of my very favorite months!
It is filled with hope and happy,
yummy food and Christmas trees,
decorations, lights, sugar plum fairies,
Santa, and my birthday!

Even though things might be different this year,
we can still be full of holiday cheer!
This month’s bucket list is full of recipes
that promise to make things festive and holiday heavenly!
You can see photos and links to the inspiration recipes
in the December section of my Monthly Pinterest Board here
The flavor of the month for December is
White Chocolate Peppermint
Appetizers
Pizza Wreath from Food Network
Peppermint Mocha Cheesecake Dip from Crazy for Crust
Club Sub Spirals orignial recipe
Snowball Party Mix from A Spicy Perspective
Side Dishes
Bacon Corn Spoon Bread from Mantitlement
Cranberry Roasted Winter Vegetables from My Recipes
Christmas Salad from Small Town Woman
Vermont Cheddar and Rosemary Scones from The New Vintage Kitchen
Entrees
Orange Beef Lettuce Wraps from Taste of Home
Slow Cooker Mongolian Chicken from Slow Cooking Perfected
Sausage & Marinara Sheet Pan Sandwiches from the Painted Apron archives
Chicken Cordon Bleu Bubble-up Bake from Pillsbury
Desserts
White Chocolate Ting-a-Lings from Lemon Tree Dwelling

Breakfast & Miscellaneous

Here’s what I made from the November Paint Bucket
the flavor of the month was Pecans
One of my favorite appetizers or snacks are these romaine leaves
stuffed with a yummy combo of cranberries, bacon,
pecans and bleu cheese
You can make the spread and keep it in the fridge
to have appetizers on hand
or a delicious sandwich spread for wraps or tea sandwiches
Romaine Wraps with Cranberries, Pecans, Bacon and Bleu Cheese

Roasted Brussel Sprouts and Cinnamon Butternut Squash
with Pecans and Cranberries from Julia’s Album
was the inspiration for
Rainbow Roasted Sweet Potatoes & Brussels Sprouts with Bacon, Cranberries and Pecans

Instead of making Lemon Rosemary Roasted Baby Potatoes
from Just Easy Recipes
I opted to make scalloped potatoes in the slow cooker
Slow Cooker Triple Cheese Scalloped Potatoes

I also shared a round-up of Favorite Rosemary Recipes
that are perfect for holiday occasions,
including one my favorite nibbles,

Favorite Rosemary Recipe for the Holidays

Roasted Cauliflower Salad from Woman’s Day was the starting point for
Roasted Cauliflower and Asparagus Salad with Warm Bacon Vinaigrette

I put my own spin Creamy Mushroom & Spinach Tortellini Soup from Closet Cooking by adding sausage for
Spinach & Cheese Tortellini Soup with Parmesan, Sausage and Mushrooms

I downsized Pecan Pie Bread Pudding from Call Me PMc
using 2 sub sandwich rolls
and amped it up with a Caramel Drizzle
This bread pudding can be served for breakfast without the caramel
or for dessert with the caramel sauce
Caramel Drizzled Pecan Bread Pudding

So onto December!
And here’s a favorite appetizer from last year
Strawberry, Pecan & Pimiento Cheese Wreath

Time to think Merry!
