Tablescapes, Spring Chickens

As much as I want the calendar to slow down
I’m getting tired of seeing snowmen around

Their jolly faces kept me happy during the January cold

But let’s face it, I’m ready for Spring to unfold!

I received this fabulous Royal Check stand in December

Wow, the last time I was so excited, I don’t even remember!

I shopped my house for some things that were blue

And my beloved Villa della Luna dinnerware came shining through

And the chickens, well they just remind me of Spring

And all the bright colors Mother Nature will bring

I painted a white pitcher to go with the stand

and filled it with vegetables, I think it looks grand!

I love all things MacKenzie-Childs, and this checked stand in blue

Stop back by Friday and I’ll show you how to paint one too!

Are you thinking Spring yet?

Jenna, Your painted pitcher is perfectly paired with your MKC royal check stand! I love the cheery pops of orange from your Villa della Luna, carrots and spring chickens too! ♥
Villa della Luna is my favorite dishware, and it really can play well with so many things…it was a great inspiration for the pitcher, thanks Mary!
Yes Jenna, I am dreaming about spring! Love your pretty table setting with blues, checks and chicks. The painted pitcher looks grand with the MacKenzie-Childs. Love your Villa della Luna pattern too and wow does your table pop! Hard to believe January will be gone and we’ll welcome February soon. Happy Wednesday………
Thanks so much Emily, and yay, dreary January is almost over 🙂
I’m definitely thinking of spring! Your dinnerware looks great with the Royal Check, and your pitcher too!
Thank you Rita!
How perfect! I’m ready for spring too.
I am not a fan of winter 😂
Love this table! Your painted picture speaks life to me this morning as it’s colors are so pretty. We’ve had a little more colder weather than normal for us Floridians this year and I haven’t complained because we have needed it. I have a Mountain trip coming in but as soon as I return I will be ready for Spring for sure! Hope you are having a good week. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Thanks so much Cindy, have fun in the mountains!
This is a beautiful table, and I’m so glad you are thinking Spring! It’s snowing here today, but I still have parsley in my cold frame!
Thanks Dorothy, this cheery table brightened the whole house!
This is one gorgeous table! All my favorite colors and so cheerful and happy. Love your Royal Check. We’ll be seeing winter for another three months I think but I can see the move toward spring! Delightful in every way!
Thank you Jeanie, we sometimes get our coldest weather in March, but we can also get mild 70s so it’s always interesting!
Jenna, this is so pretty and makes me smile this morning! We have seen nothing but clouds for several days. I love your new MC piece. I’m wanting a courtly check one, The pitcher you painted is absolutely beautiful. I spotted it first thing! Thanks for brightening our day! Take care!
Thanks so much Shannon! I have had the pitcher for several years, just waiting for the inspiration to paint it to go with something!
Jenna, the MKC Royal Check is stunning with your hand-painted pitcher! This table is so cheery and the Villa Della Luna is perfect with all of its happy colors! Happy Wednesday!
Thank you Pam, the Villa della Luna is my favorite dishware 🙂
Love your new MKC stand—-especially the shade of blue! Love your table, too, and it inspires me to start thinking “spring”!
Thanks so much Rosie, I love the bright blue too, so fresh and pretty!
Love this! I am ready for spring too!
thank you!
Villa della “LUNA” came “SHINING” through–Bama Girl, you are so clever! I love this pattern and have always loved Pflatzgraff. Your pitcher is so perfect I thought it was from the manufacturer and not your artist’s hand–that’s how good you are! It’s overcast here in Georgia today, so the mention of spring just perked me right up. Everyone hold that thought–Georgia Gal
I am very fond of this dishware, it is so colorful and happy, and was a great inspiration for the pitcher! and thank you for your flattering comments Georgia Gal!
Your pitcher and platter are perfect together. A match made in artist heaven.
thanks Linda 🙂
Must admit, I dreaming for spring.
This table with it shots of color and peas and carrots is just what I needed to see right now 🙂
Thanks Rachelle, this table really cheered up the whole house during a gray January week!
Such a fun and cheerful table. I know many are ready for spring. Love the MK checked platter. The pitcher is perfect. Love the dishware, colorful and pretty.
Thank you Linda, we have had a cold gray January, so I’m hoping to hurry Mother Nature along!
So cute Jenna. I love the pitcher you painted – wow! It looks like it was made to match. You are so talented. And the villa della luna plates are so pretty. I agree – hurry up spring!
thanks so much Kim!
Hi! I’m thinking Spring but still enjoying Winter. Relatively speaking, it hasn’t been that bad this year, so I’m not crazy from the cold…yet. We still have February ahead of us, and February in Kansas City tends to not be kind. I’m glad to see you found a way to lift your spirits and bring your space a taste of better times ahead! Brilliant blues fill the bill every time!
Thank you Alycia, it’s been very cold in the South, and we don’t like it 🙂
