Party Panache, Peanut Butter & Bacon Valentine Snack Mix

Here’s a snack mix guaranteed to make any Valentine happy!

It’s a chex cereal based snack mix,

paired with chocolate peanut butter cups, M & Ms and bacon!

Super Boy and Big E gave this a double thumbs up!

👍👍

Bake the cereal, pretzels, and nuts first

If you can’t find Peanut Butter Chex,

you can substitute Rice Chex or Corn Chex

Toss the nuts pretzels and cereal with olive oil,

Worcestershire, and seasoned salt

and bake for 40 minutes, stirring half way through

Turn the hot mix out on to paper towels to cool

and mix in the peanut butter cups and M & Ms

Just before serving, add crisp bacon pieces

I used thick cut Maple Bourbon Bacon

You could also use packaged bacon bits,

but the real thing is so much better

You can cook the bacon ahead of time,

and rewarm it right before serving so it will be crispy

  6. I’m a boring chex mix eater. That is, I like my chex mix MADLY! But only with wheat and corn chex and nuts. No candy. No pretzels. No cheerios. But bacon? I’d never thought of that one and I can see an addition in my future!

  7. I just got home from work and wish I had a big ole bowl right now:@)
