Tablescapes, Sunshine Spring Bouquet

I love having fresh flowers in the house

The other day I grabbed this bunch labeled “Sunshine Bouquet”

from the grocery store

Bright yellow sunflowers, hot pink carnations, white alstromeria

and purple daisies and tulips…

Instant Spring!

I put them in a straight sided glass vase until I had time to arrange them

I ended up not arranging them at all,

I loved the colors jumbled together

and decided instead to highlight the colors with bright ribbons and bows

I tucked the vase into a wreath of purple flowers on a green tray

and placed in in the center of the foyer table

I started having thoughts of Easter

so I added a sweet moss bunny

and created some “blooming place settings”

Big blooming napkin rings with a spring of forsythia,

yellow plates and colorful blooming bowls

A handpainted dragonfly dish holds butter for rolls

More colorful blooms and Happy Dot stemware

And big bloom printed pillows sit in each chair

Magical sunlight came streaming in

Erasing all chilly thoughts of the long winter it has been

I’m so ready for Spring, and to put last year in the past

It’s time for good news and happier times at last!

Beautiful spring inspiration! I love your pillows, place settings and of course, the flowers. Sunshine makes everything better!

  2. Jenna, what a breath of spring in your foyer. Fresh flowers always bring cheer into a space as does your beautiful table, blooming pillows, and the sun pouring in. Happy Wednesday, enjoy your day!

  3. This is so pretty, Jenna. Love those cheerful colors. I need to get out my moss bunny and others. A good reminder!

I was so disappointed yesterday. I went to the grocery store to return cans and bottles and in hopes of picking up some springy bouquet or bulb garden. The flowers were hideous! I wouldn’t mind the price (they were high) if they were good flowers, but so disappointing! I wish I’d seen some as lovely as yours!

    • Oh sorry Jeanie, hopefully better flowers will be available soon. My store usually has many tempting flowers at great prices, next time I go I want to grab tulips, I love to watch them move and “dance!”

Gorgeous flowers, they really are perfect just the way you left with with the pretty ribbons. Such a beautiful spring table too!

  5. Beautiful spring decoration! Fresh colourful flowers simply make me HAPPY! I was too late by ALDI today and all the nice flower bouquets were all gone. Gotta check tomorrow again as my flower vases look really sad sitting at the corner.

This table setting is literally a breath of fresh air! I love everything here, especially how you displayed the bouquet. Sitting the vase of spring flowers in the bed of greenery and flowers looks so much like spring and I think we are all ready for that! Love the detail place settings, napkins and plates and the pillows, wow. Beautiful inspiration Jenna……..

  10. Jenna your table looks amazing. Love all the bright flowers you placed on the table. I think they look amazing even if they aren’t what you were hoping they sure looks great. Love the dishes you used as well. Happy Spring!

  11. Very pretty and it looks so springy. Fresh flowers in the house is always a treat. The pillows are lovely. Happy spring soon.

Hello SPRING! What a great tablescape and awesome pillows too, Jenna. Love those colorful blooming bowls. You captured the essence of spring for sure. Tomorrow I am going to try my hand at forcing daffodils to grow in clear vases in water. I didn’t get them all planted last fall, so I’m going to see if I can get these left over bulbs to grow! Wish me luck! Hehe 🌾🥀⚘
