Creations, Decorative Artist’s Palette

I found this colorful rainbow wreath of flowers with a palette

on Pinterest and thought it would be so much fun to make

I decided to just make the palette for right now,

and use it to decorate my studio

This palette board came with a table top easel box I bought to use

for small drawings and paintings

I looked through my craft stash and found some flat sided glass “stones,”

a ribbon, bright flowers and paint

I painted the stones in a rainbow of colors,

much like the colors I would lay out on a palette when painting

When the paint was dry, I glued them onto the palette board

I selected 3 worn out brushes and glued them down on one side

A simple bow of checked ribbon was secured with wire in the center

and the wire was then used to attach the flowers

I glued the bow and flowers to the palette just below the hole

It looks pretty cute on my easel!

When I’m not painting, I’m going to use it on my easel for decoration

My art studio is located in what used to be the breakfast nook off the kitchen

It is the main pathway to the patio from the house

so when I’m not working I keep it as neat and tidy as I can

I love it!
