Tablescapes, Floral Tea Party

One of my fellow Traveling Toters, Emily @theFrenchHutch

gifted me with this pretty

Curious Teacup Towel from MacKenzie-Childs

Naturally, my first thought was “Tablescape!”

My mind was spinning, I could hardly wait!

A trip to Hobby Lobby with a pouring centerpiece in mind

I found lots of pretties that I could combine

I gathered my tea pots, tea cups and other tea things

And set a table that practically sings!

Flowers pour from a teapot on top of a candle stand

down a trail of leaves Into a polka dot cup where they land

A pretty tea cup awaits at each place

Silver tea pots fill the rest of the space

Flowers and tea cups, silver and tea bags

There are even handmade little tea tags!

Thank you so much sweet Emily

and I hope soon you can come over and have tea with me!

Stop by tomorrow for the monthly Creative Craft Blog Hop

I’ll be sharing the tutorial on making

  9. Jenna, what a beautiful tea party that you have created. I love that you found the inspiration from the darling tea towel gifted by Emily. I love pink and this is just too fabulous. I can just imagine four friends sitting around your tea table admiring every detail. Of course the teapot pouring out flowers is the piece de resistance. Looking forward to your DIY tomorrow! We have a frost advisory for in the morning, yikes this is late for frost!

    • Thanks Pam, CC and I have been talking about having a tea party for months, so now we’re ready! I’m covering our new hibiscus and dahlias tonight, I hope this is the last cold blast!

Oh Jenna, what a darling tea party! I’m happy I could be an inspiration to an artsy designer. The only thing I would wish for is to join you at the table to see up close these beautiful pieces you put tougher for this party. I love what you did, the pitcher is the perfect pot with the flowers flowing into a puddle. So clever! Love, love, love!

  14. Between the clever rhyme and the table design itself, you have put Alice on notice!!!!!! What a terrific centerpiece idea! I know that had to take some time, and I love your dedication to making it look so great! It really looks like the pot is pouring flowers!!!!!!!! Isn’t it great how some of our best tablescapes are borne of such thoughtful gifts? I love the tea tags, too! Those are a SUPER special touch!

    • Thanks so much Alycia, it really didn’t take much time once I gathered all the parts…I’m looking forward to having a tea party with my granddaughter. The tea tags were a gift from another blogger, aren’t they so pretty?
