  1. Those summer dishes are looking really inviting! I need to try that tomato tart. Here it starts to feel like Fall…and the July we had just rain 🙁 A mild summer this year..

  2. Jenna, the August paint bucket has some wonderful sounding food. I so agree August weather is usually less than ideal. I know I would like sugar cookie fruit tacos!

    Happy August!

  3. BERNADETTE says:

Lots of staying cool recipes here. Thanks Jenna

  4. I agree, August is the worst month, too much heat and everything is drying up. Fun recipes to distract us!

  5. Rita C. says:

With your list, I think you’ll have August looking much better!

  6. Zoodle Pasta Pie sounds like a winner to me:@) Yep, August and February… Ugh!

  7. I’m hoping to make that peachy pecan bread when I get home tomorrow or Tuesday — I scored some fabulous peaches at the market and I’m dying to try this recipe. I haven’t done these little breads for awhile, but it seemed all winter I had a huge stash of them in the freezer. Maybe it’s time to start again!

  8. Great ideas! I’m trying those Zucchini & Pimiento Cheese Squares, I happen to have a lot of zucchini right now!

  9. Mary says:

Yum Jenna! August is my least favorite month too. 🙂

Your August recipes look delish. 😀 I’m trying to keep cool and make overnight oatmeal more as well as main course salads.

  12. Nancy says:

    Yes please to everything!
That slice of pie watercolor is absolutely beautiful!
    Happy August!

  14. Nummy entertaining and great recipes also. The paintings are so delicious looking also–that key lime pie had my mouth watering! We are enjoying the produce and all the fresh cooking that goes with it! Hugs, Sandi

  15. Jenna, your August paint bucket has some delicious sounding recipes! It’s only 9;29 am here, and already I’m hungry! I am not a fan of August weather either, and long for fall. But it is true that each month has it’s own charms and blessings. Happy August!

  16. I am with you Jenna on the August attitude!! My flowers are calling out for more water! You always present the most wonderful recipes. The peaches and pecan bread is calling my name!
Very pretty table and great recipes Jenna!!!
