Fearless Friday, Feelin’ Witchy!

Happy October!
How did we get here so fast??
I am starting to feel a little witchy
so let’s have some Halloween fun today!

Today we’re going to draw and color
one of Halloween’s favorite icons, witch legs
When you are drawing something
one of my favorite tricks to use is turning the paper

Seeing the side view or even upside down
helps you to keep things symmetrical or in perspective
Once I was pleased with the drawing I inked over the pencil,
erased and added some details

To color large areas,
use the fine tip of a dual tip marker
to outline everything
then use the broad tip to fill in

I am going to participate in Inktober,
a daily drawing in ink during the month of October,
and this will be one of my entries

It looks dramatic in black and white,
but I’m a color person, so let’s add color!

Yellow and purple…

Orange and green…

And dots!

Lots of dots!

Thank you Pam, big game today, my daughter is an Ole Miss alum and my son is an Alabama alum, so I’ll be rooting for both 🙂
This is really cute, Jenna! I love your tutorials. I’ve done a couple pumpkin truck cards (not for sale inventory but just for friends). Your instructions were great and they’re really fun!
Oh good, thanks Jeanie!!
Great drawing lesson! I think I can do this one. Thank you!
Thank you Ann, have fun!
Love those dots!!! I am just a polka dot kinda’ gal, they make me happy–and I love this artistic effort and may take a spin at replicating it. Fall is truly here, now if the mosquitoes will just fade away, all will be well with fall.
Georgia Gal
Thank you Georgia Gal, and yes the mosquitos have been awful this year, so much rain!
So darn cute! I love to watch the process! Have a wonderful weekend, Jenna.
Thanks so much Katie!
