We love an excuse for a party or get together
and love to entertain
Over Labor Day we enjoyed a Hot Dog Bar
It was so much fun!

I started thinking about other Food Bars we’ve done
and rounded them up to share with you~
inspirations for upcoming fall and holiday gatherings!
Just click on the recipe title to go to the post with the recipe~
Here are some blasts from the past
We did this one Christmas and family helped themselves
to baked cheese grits and could select toppings of
grilled shrimp, BBQ pulled pork, asparagus,
mushrooms and bacon

A slow cooker pot of taco soup
with grated cheese, onions, sour cream,
shredded lettuce and tortilla chips

Veggies and dip, Pimiento Cheese with scoop fritos,
pistaschio nuts, Bacon Jam & Asparagus Rolls
ham biscuits, grilled lamp lollipops,

Green Goddess Salad Bar with Wacky Weeds
Salad with a variety of toppings,
homemade Green Goddess Dressing,

All the fixings for fajitas plus margaritas!

Kid Friendly Charcuterie Board Buffet Bar
A variety of cheeses, crackers, salami, pigs in a blanket,
grapes, pesto tortellini, cucumbers, chips and dip

Featuring a Fresh Peach Cake,
bagels, hard boiled eggs

Store bought small bites arranged in teacups
and on pedestals for a wow presentation

Grapes and fresh figs,
Spinach and Artichoke pastries {bought from frozen section}
a variety of nuts, cheese, bread and wine

Popcorn with a wide variety of seasonings and toppings

Champage, orange juice, cranberry juice and berries for garnishing

A spooky candy spread with Halloween treats and sweets!

I also had an idea for an International Lettuce Wrap Bar
A spread of International fillings to wrap in lettuce or tortillas
Asian Cashew Chicken, Pimiento Cheese,
Pulled Pork with Roasted Vegetables
Spring Rolls with Sweet Chili Paste

How about a Burger Bar with sliders, toppings and fries…
or maybe a Pasta bar
with a variety of pasta types, sauces, meats, and veggies…
or a Potato Bar with baked or mashed potatoes
and lots of crazy toppings…
I hope you’re inspired to try having a Food Bar,
such a fun way to entertain!
Endless Possibilities!

Jenna, you are amazing in the kitchen. The food bars are perfect and I would be delighted to be a guest for any of these! Happy Sunday!
Thank you Pam…we are trying to recover from Bama’s loss on Saturday…luckily we weren’t having a party!
Heartbreaking loss, but you can’t win forever🅰️
Gosh, I think I’d better have a party!
Tis the season!
Some really excellent ideas! I love esp. the Taco soup bar 🙂
Thanks Angie!
Love-love-love that football field cutting board:@)
Rough football weekend, Bama lost 😢
Perfect Jenna…..and yes please on all your wonderful food bar presentations. If one is not inspired, their eyes are closed. 🙂 Thanks for the suggestions!
Hugs my friend
Thanks so much Kari!
Oh my goodness! You have certainly had a variety of food bars, and they are perfect for game time. My eye was drawn to the grits bar. I have never been able to get my family interested in grits. My daddy whom I adored made me a grits lover by telling me “they won’t let you in Alabama if you don’t eat grits.” 😉
haha, your Daddy was right! grits are so good if properly seasoned and especially if they’re paired with cheese…the Grits Bar is one of my favorites, so good!
Woo hoo! Girl, can you COOK! Wow, what a wonderful array of great food! You sure can do it up right! Your family gathering / parties always have terric food and I bet evryone is always stuffed, hehe.
Thanks so much Cyndi, we do love to have a gathering!
Jenna, you always have the most wonderful ideas for entertaining! All of these food bars sound delicious and look like so much fun. I don’t think I could chose a favorite! Thanks for all the great inspiration!
Thank you Shannon, it’s amazing how with a little creative presentation, even simple food like hot dogs and grits, seem party special!
Okay! These are all perfect ideas for many entertaining parties to come! Thank you!
Thank you Nancy, party time!
Bars are such a fun and easy way to entertain Jenna! I especially love the grits bar. ♥
The grits bar is my favorite, I want to do that again soon!
We’ve done burger bars before but I love the hot dog bar idea! And all the others!
Thanks Jeanie, the hot dog bar we did for Labor Day was a big hit with adults and kids alike, and so easy!
I absolutely love the way you set your presentation! Pinned! Thanks for sharing at the What’s for Dinner party! Enjoy the rest of your week.
Thank you Helen, I think everyone enjoys a good buffet so they can choose what they like!
