combines cranberries, orange juice, maple syrup and orange zest

plus optional walnuts or pecans

A few minutes on the stove top and it’s ready!

Slow Cooker Cranberry Orange Sauce

only calls for 5 simple ingredients,

cranberries, clementines, sugar, bay leaves and cinnamon

Put everything in the slow cooker

Cook on high for 1 hour,

give it a stir and then continue to cook for 2 more hours

I used to make cranberry sauce with K and 1st grade students as a center activity. They loved to watch the cranberries pop, and so did I! The slow cooker sounds like a great way to go; I’ve never done that!
