Floral Ice Cream Cones

Welcome to the Monthly Creative Craft Blog Hop

A big Thank You! to Sara from Birdz of a Feather for hosting

Today I’m sharing flower filled ice cream cones

that I made for my granddaughter’s birthday party

The theme for the party was ice cream

so I made these paper ice cream cones to decorate the table

I filled a paper cone with fiber fill and placed paper flowers on top

I found the paper cones on Amazon here

I got the Poly fil Fiber Fill and paper flowers at Hobby Lobby

Glasses from the dollar store held the cones

Spray Adhesive helped hold the flowers in place

I started by placing the larger blooms in the cone first

Then I filled in the spaces with smaller blooms

They looked so cute at the Ice Cream Party!

I also used a large floral ice cream cone to decorate the craft table

you can see the tutorial here

What an awesome project and theme Jenna! These are just fabulous! Did you make the flowers?

  3. So very pretty! And you don’t have to worry about the waist line with these amazing ice cream cones.

  4. Tammy says:

Oh, my! These are just darling and really make the perfect centerpiece. Just beautiful. Pinning for the future. I can see these at ton of different parties, bridal showers, etc. Thanks so much for sharing!

    • Thanks so much Tammy, my inspiration was a photo I saw on Pinterest with a real ice cream cone in a glass with a few real tulips in it…it was so pretty, but I decided to go the faux route, so they wouldn’t be as fragile~

  5. Jenna the ice cream cones are adorable and how creative you are in designing them. How lucky CC is to have you decorate a cute birthday party. Love it!

  6. Jenna, these are so cute and I know CC loved them. It was a darling party for your beautiful granddaughter💗

  7. Nancy says:

    Happy Birthday CC! 🍦🍦

How adorable! I absolutely love them! I did not know that Hobby Lobby sold premade paper flowers. Good to know. I bet your granddaughter loved them. It was such a beautiful and creative idea. The large one on the craft table is gorgeous too!
    Happy hopping!

    • Thanks so much Niki! I have used the Hobby Lobby paper flowers on several crafts, they are such fun to use and they carry a huge variety of them. CC was completely over the moon about her party!

  12. Barbara at Mantel and Table says:

Absolutely darling Jenna – I would love to be at that party – and I’m sure your granddaughter was thrilled! It’s so perfectly ice creamy, and the glasses to hold them up are brilliant. Thanks for sharing this great idea!

  13. So sweet! I love it. Can’t wait to hop around and visit your blog friends.

  14. Great instructions. And this is so different than I envisioned! I was all ready to go buy sugar cones, maybe faux buds but possibly wee vases (or cramming those live flowers into a ziplock and then cramming them into the cone. Which would still work!). I just love these SO MUCH!

    • You could definitely use real ice cream cones and flowers, that would be stunning, I just felt faux was the safer and easier way to go for this party…thanks Jeanie!

  15. Donna Powell says:

I was wondering how you made the cones. Thanks for sharing the link to purchase them. The cones and table look so pretty and I’m sure the birthday party was a success and lots of fun.

Jenna, I love the floral ice cream cones. I love anything ice cream. (I am sure you can guess that I do.) These make such lovely centerpieces for any kind of party. I love your choice of colors too. Bright and cheerful.

  18. So pretty Jenna, calorie free too. Such a darling idea. I bet your granddaughter was thrilled with the table. Thanks for sharing this fabulous idea. Happy weekend.

  19. Denise/My Home of All Seasons says:

Just adorable Jenna! I bet the kids were so excited to see the table all decked out this way. Ice cream is such a great theme and of course Grandma knew exactly how to decorate for it! So fun!

  20. Kitty says:

Oh Jenna, these are too, too cute, and perfect for the centerpiece. They’re so easy, too, with the paper cones, and polyfil and paper flowers. Love this!!

  21. Alycia Nichols says:

What a super idea and and even “super-er” look!
