Be prepared to have a lot of Halloween fun!

Welcome friends, readers and visitors from

Jadeite Whimsy: Seasonal Tray and Table Setting

You will find links to all the table creations at the end of the post

Please come in!

You needn’t hesitate or be afraid…

The ghosts might look scary, but it’s just a charade~

They want you to see them, and start to freak

It would make their day if you’d say EEK!

They think it’s frightening when they say BOO

Ignore their antics and just say SHOO!

It’s really only slightly spooky…

And polka dot pumpkins are definitely kooky!

There’s a Haunted Mansion on the side table

A ghost filled house with 2 black gables

Now when the darkness falls at night

It becomes a little scarier sight!

Things don’t seem as quite serene…

And you just might let out a scream!

And when dinner’s over and the meal is done

The ghosts and pumpkins really have fun!!

Thanks so much for your visit!

Jenna, I prefer Halloween tables and displays that are only slight spooky. Your ghostly table is adorable along with your ‘kooky’ pumpkins! I love the magical glow of your table illuminated at night, especially with your orange and black striped candles! Love you mix of flatware at the table too. As always it’s a treat to join you at the table and hop with you. Happy Tuesday!👻🧡🎃

  3. Nancy says:

Your slightly spooky table is adorable! I love all the black and white and even better when it’s all aglow. It brings the Halloween Magic to your home.
    Great inspiration! Thank you!
    Happy Tuesday dear Jenna.

  4. BERNADETTE says:

Jenna, you need some devil sticks and spiders🤣

  5. What an adorable collection of fun things for Halloween.

  6. Rita C. says:

Unbelievable amount of creativity with both product and prose here, Jenna! I’m not skeered, I’m blown away by all the ghostly details. The table looks so cool at night too. I love how you assembled the centerpiece with the ghosts and goblins. I love those ghost bottles you made, and I’d forgotten the plate that wasn’t painted – cute! It’s a perfect balance of not to spooky by how you add the fun dot pumpkins and plates. I’d gladly park my broom alongside that table and join in the boos!

  7. Jenna, will you ever run out of creativity?! Your rhymes always delight me. I love all the ghostly details and the polka dots. Dots always seem to say whimsy. The nighttime view of the table is amazing. I will park my broom next to Rita’s and join you at this fun table 🎃

It is always a treat to hop with you!

Jenna, Slightly spooky brings a big smile to my face! Your table is so fun and just a bit kooky – perfect for me!! I love that little ghost holding the pail – too cute – along with so many other things on your table. Love the lighting change as well!! I hope you get lots of treats and no tricks over this Halloween season!!

Jenna, your ghostly table is absolutely adorable! You are so talented, and I always enjoy reading the poems you create to go with your festive tables. The polka dots also make this table look extra fun. I also love the way the night time display looks with the glow you created. It was such a delight to visit your Halloween table! Happy Tuesday!

So many great ideas to create this festive table decor! Thank you for sharing.

  16. Ghosts and goblins and not too scary Halloween spookiness make for a delightful table. The plates and placemats work well together and I especially like how it looks at night. Just a little bit of spooky after dark is a great thing for Halloween. Have a very Happy Halloween.

  17. Kim says:

Oh Jenna – I just knew your table would be delightful and your verse is spot on as always! The ghosts and Boo bottles are adorable and the pumpkins make the perfect centerpiece. The polka dot plates are so cute and what a fabulous idea for the charger plate. I love the slightly spooky look at night too; a table for adults and kids alike. You are so creative. Wishing you a happy Halloween!

    • Thanks so much Kim, I was struggling to put a table together using only what I had and making it different from past tablescapes, and then the ghosts arrived and solved the problem! 😂 🎃👻

  18. lghiggins says:

I love your poem. Halloween fun!

  19. Jenna, slightly spooky is right down my alley. Such a fun table. Love the ghosts. The polka dots plates are darling. So many wonderful fun additions. Your talent at painting always amazes me. The table looks spooky at night with candles glowing. I am happy to park my broom and join you at this ghostly table. A pleasure hopping with you.

  21. A little spooky but mostly a lot of fun! It’s always must be such fun to be dining at Jenna’s! There’s always eye candy (and sometimes even candy-candy!)_

  22. Denise/My Home of All Seasons says:

Just adorable Jenna. You are so creative and who knew you were also a poet! I’ve had so much fun here today. The boo bottles are cute as can be and I loved all the little Eek signs! Your centerpiece is gorgeous too, so many unique pumpkins and it looks amazing lit up. Thank you for sharing!

    • Thank you so much Denise! I don’t know why but when I’m writing my tablescape posts, the rhymes just sort of pop in my head 😂 Pumpkins are a weakness, I just adore all shapes, kinds and sizes!

  23. Kari says:

I’m with you Jenna…I don’t like scary but Casper the friendly ghost is one I adore. Your little ghosts are of that nature and I love them and your pretty table. I always look forward to your poetry as it just makes your tablescape so interesting as I look for the elements mentioned. Yes, I have to confess that there are times I miss elements on a table til the end when props are mentioned. Then I have to go back and look more closely. With your poetry…it makes it easier. The night time shots are so cool. Thanks for such an inspiring slightly spooky and kinda kooky table my friend.
    Blessings
    Kari

    • Thanks so much Kari! I didn’t want to buy anything new, and had a fun challenge coming up with this tablescape! As for the poems, I swear they just pop into my silly head 🙂

  24. Debbee says:

Jenna, what a fun and festive tablescape! I love your friendly ghost theme and all the different versions of spirits that inhabit the tabletop. Especially like the “eek” and “boo” signs. Love the table length centerpiece with all the pumpkins in different colors, textures and patterns. Of course, your handmade items make it all the more unique and special.

  25. Ricki Treleaven says:

I’ve always enjoyed your pumpkin collection, and I think the polka dot plates look so cute with them! I also like your ghosts: They are more cute than scary. The only thing I see to make me say, “EEK!” is the little skeleton outside the haunted house. So cute! Thanks for posting the photos shot at night. I like seeing them. Also: I love your witchy glasses. 😀 Happy Halloween!

  26. Chloe Crabtree says:

So much cuteness here! I love those BOO ghost bottles! At first I was wondering where those painted glasses were, but then I saw them!! the black and white polka dot plates are such fun! The neat thing about those is that you can use them for so many different tables, no just for Halloween! Such fun! I was happy to visit TWO of your fun posts today!! HUGS!!

    • Thank you Chloe! I’ve had the black and white polka dot plates for years and you’re right, I’ve used them many times with many theme tables! I got to visit you twice too, but I’m sorry Rita didn’t think it was such a good idea to be in two hops on the same day, she sounded really offended…

  27. Marion says:

Your display is just Spooky enough. Love the Ghost house.
    Happy Halloween
    Marilyn,Joan and Marion

  28. Marsha says:

Jenna, I love your poetry to tell the story of the ghosts. I adore your black and white polka dot plates. All of the contrasting patterns add so much whimsy. Love the painted wine glasses. Your collection of ghosts and boo bottles are such fun and playful, especially when the lights are lowered and the string of lights create a spookier mood. Love the ghost and candy corn plate. So unique. Always a pleasure to hear from you.

  29. Jenna, I love your spooky yet charming table! The ghosts are on the sweet side of Halloween and I love the myriad patterns, shapes, textures, heights and colors you used. I don’t think I could possibly pick out a favorite since I’m smitten with all of it! The glow from the mini lights in the evening is perfectly atmospheric. The ‘narrative’ is inspired. Such a pleasure to hop along with you!

  30. Rebecca says:

Jenna, your table setting is spooky fun! I love the plethora of ghosts and pumpkins. The painted pumpkins in the centerpiece caught my eye…they must be one of your creations! I also love how it looks at night with the twinkle lights. It was fun to hop with you again. Happy Halloween!
