Fearless Friday, Holiday Wraps, Bags & Tags!

With inflation impacting our budgets these days,
you can save a lot of money making your own gift wrap supplies
Let me show you some easy designs anyone can do
and how you can make your own holiday wraps, bags, and tags!

These cute bags are basically just lines, colors and shapes!
Look for plain handled bags
at the Dollar Store, Target, Hobby Lobby or Michael’s
You can create a stack of these gift bags with a handful of markers
See the step by step tutorial here

Instead of a boring box, tuck your gift into a painted jar!
Perfect for a pair of cute socks, gloves, hand lotion, candy
or homemade goodies like Peppermint Snowballs

Tie the jars with a pretty ribbon
and make festive card stock tags using PicMonkey
See the complete tutorial and recipe here

You can add a simple design too,
a candy cane or a Christmas tree!
See the Christmas Tree tutorial here
Buckets or pails are great for gifting too
The buckets below hold a seasoning mix wrapped in a dishtowel
A tag with a recipe idea is tied on the handle~
This is a great gift for a host or hostess, or a party favor
See the details here

I found these red and black buckets already painted

But you can always get plain buckets at the craft or hardware store
and paint them yourself~
You can personalize them with a name or simple pattern
So cute for a big fluffy stuffed animal
Using a jar or a bucket is like giving 2 gifts in 1!
They can enjoy what’s inside
and reuse the jar or bucket for something else

Making your own tags is a real money saver too~

You can create these sweet angel tags
with just a few strokes of a paint brush!
How about a jolly Santa?

Paint him on a bag,
you can even use brown lunch bags
that you can get at the grocery store
Paint him on a vase and fill it with candy canes!
See the tutorial here
It will look so cute you won’t even need to wrap it up!
Rudolf is fun to paint too~

Just a few basic shapes…
A circle, an oval, a couple of swishes, lines and dots!
See the tutorial here
Paint or draw him on card stock and cut it out for a tag
or upload a photo of your art to PicMonkey
and design a tag to print one or multiples

Gnomes are still popping up everywhere
They are simple to paint too,
just a wonky triangle hat,
some brush strokes for the beard
and a round dot for the nose

I painted wine glasses and a vase,
but they too would be cute on gift tags and bags!
See the tutorial here
I hope I’ve inspired you to make some wraps, bags and tags!
