The flavor/theme of the month was Thanksgiving Twists
Sweet & Savory Cranberry Bites adapted from Yellow Bliss Road
was the inspiration for these amazing
Asparagus, Cranberry, Bacon & Pistachio Tarts
Bacon, Brussels Sprouts and Green Bean Casserole
from Southern Living was the inspiration for this versatile
This can be served as a main dish, side dish
or as the appetizer tarts pictured above
Pulled Pork Cornbread Muffins from Plain Chicken
inspired Pulled Pork Cornbread Buns that I served with
Slow Cooker Broccoli Asiago Soup adapted from
Asiago Broccoli Cheese Soup from Will Cook for Smiles
Gnoochi Alfredo with Spinach, Ham & Butternut Squash
is an original recipe full of color and flavors
I also created two other original dishes that are so good
they will be going on a regular rotation!
Both recipes are a nice change up from holiday flavors
and are creative ways to use up leftovers

Choices! Choices! But what is it about me and broccoli? I like it raw, tossed in salads, but once its cooked – like in this soup, I’m a little kid holding her nose. Something about heating it up . . . weird, I know. Anyway, the other recipe ideas sound delightful and healthy to me, so HEY . . . I can’t be the perfect guest every time. Sorry. I’ll behave next time.
I hear ya! I’m not a fan of some versions of broccoli, but put it in a soup with a creamy cheesy sauce and it can be very yummy!

Jenna, the December paint bucket sounds amazing. I hope you decide to make the Christmas tree Nutella pie. I love Nutella and sometimes buy the small size just for me so I can enjoy by the spoonfuls! Happy Sunday!

It’s so much fun this time of the year thinking about all the beautiful food we can make for the holidays and parties! I love your idea of keeping a Pinterest board that you can go back and look at from year to year. These recipes sound wonderful.

So many yummy recipes to choose from I hardly know what to pick. But I love the flatbread with leftovers – what a great idea because you could put almost anything on it. As long as it has cheese, of course. Thanks for sharing all these recipes Jenna and happy almost December!
