Take-out Tuesday is all about recipes
that are easier and tastier than restaurant take-out
There a lot of May celebrations on the calendar the next 2 weeks
so I’ve rounded up some tried and true
favorite easy ones from the archives~

Cinco de Mayo, the Kentucky Derby & Mother’s Day
Cinco de Mayo
Before you eat that watermelon, zucchini, lime or Brussels sprouts, use them to make a cute “cactus” decoration!

A salad in a bag makes quick work of these yummy vegetable nibbles, a perfect bite for summer gatherings
Filo cups from the freezer hold a combo of bacon, tomatoes with green chilies, cheddar and mayo and baked~ make plenty, they will disappear quickly!
All the flavors of a beef, bean and cheese taco can be scooped up with a yummy corn chip
Change up taco Tuesday and serve your tacos open face on french bread instead of tortillas
Use queso from the grocery as a sauce to top these easy homemade burritos
Turn that leftover pulled pork into a completely different meal by using it as a filling for enchiladas~ onions, corn, pork and cheese rolled up in flour tortillas with enchilada sauce and baked

Crescent roll dough filled with sausage and cheese and baked is hard to resist

A homemade flatbread made with fig jam, pears, bleu cheese and bacon can be served for brunch, lunch or dinner, or cut into smaller pieces for appetizers
