Tablescapes, Playing with Sunflowers
I have been playing with sunflowers this week,
come on in and I’ll give you a peek
I wanted to decorate my Courtly Check tiered tray
I ordered sunflowers from Amazon that came the next day!
I got a variety of sizes and blooms
I wanted sunflowers to fill the whole room!
After I styled the tray,
a sunflower table was only minutes away!
I remembered I had an acrylic sunflower tray
that I placed near by to use but not get in the way
A sunflower basket hangs on the door,
it adds a late summer touch to the interior decor
Checked chargers, bright yellow plates and cute sunflower dishes
Sunflower napkins and rings fulfill all my sunflower wishes!
You might see some bees buzzing around
But don’t worry they’re not real
and they don’t make a sound

I love both the sunflowers and your poetry. When I see something like sunflowers or irises that I really love so much, I have to wonder why I have such an instinctive attraction to them. On a different note, I’m assuming sunflowers were not available at Hobby Lobby so you turned to Amazon. I would never have thought of Amazon as a source for artificial flowers. Is there anything that is not available on Amazon? I received today some clear soft plastic corner protectors that are going to save my head at my cabin from a sharp cabinet corner.
Amazon has everything! I’m sure Hobby Lobby has sunflowers, or did, they are probably full of Christmas by now! Plastic corner protectors sound like a good idea!
