The Witch’s Hat

Set the scene, it’s almost time for Halloween

Welcome to the Halloween Tablescape Blog Hop!

Thank you to our amazing hostess Rita from Panoply

Whether you’re a friend, a reader, or visiting from Life and Linda,

we are so happy you are here to enjoy some Halloween fun!

Let’s take a peek at this table for 2,

The witch has set it just for me and you!

This table belongs to a good witch, you know how I can tell?

There are flowers all over her hat, and polka dots as well

She’s not going to trick you or put you under a spell,

She’s set a pretty table where we can linger and dwell

She must be a happy witch because her decor is fun

Polka dots on a pumpkin, and painted flowers on another one

Little pumpkin bowls are filled with treats

And there is a painted witch hat glass by our seats

The chairs are tied with a bright orange sash

There’s not a pattern on these, she didn’t want them to clash

Lots of polka dots, checks, black, orange and white

This happy table will never cause fright!

Next up on the hop is my friend Kari from Me and My Captain

Thanks for sharing this bewitching blog hop–I have only made it through part of it, will finish with my afternoon break. You see I am in fall cleaning mode, SO I spied and read the Panoply hints for reorganizing/donating, etc. first. I now feel better armed for this fall’s process, AKA cleansing the Augean Stables, as I channel Hercules to get a more orderly abode. Thanks, Jenna, for your part in the hop. Georgia Gal

  24. You’ve found a charming witch to set your table, Jenna, and she’s chosen such bright and cheery accents. I love all the pumpkins, the pedestal, the linens and of course her hat!
