It’s time for the July edition of the Monthly Creative Craft Hop

For my craft this month,
I wanted to do something with this pretty bottle
hmmm….
Looking through my craft stash
I found a container of small sea shells
and an idea started to form
I threw in some flat back glass beads
I decided to paint the bottle to look like the seashore
and glue shells on the sandy beach
I used white liquid acrylic paint,
and light blue and royal blue craft paint,
and yellow ocrhe {not pictured}
I let the first coat dry and then did a second coat
I glued the tan flat glass beads along the bottom indicating sand
Then I indicated the sand with small dots
applied with the tip end of a paint brush
that I dipped in both white and yellow ochre paint
I painted the water’s edge with a wavy light blue
Then royal blue for the deeper part of the ocean
Then I used a mix of white and yellow ochre
and added the waves breaking on the sand with mini strokes
Time for some shells!
At this point, I was busy with the finishing touches
and forgot to take any more photos
as I added more tiny shells
then finished the top with 2 small rectangular tiles
and glass beads
