Thanksgiving Blessings
In the USA a lot of us are thinking about Thanksgiving,
what will be on the menu,
and especially how are we going to set our tables!

Welcome to the Thanksgiving Tablescape Blog Hop
A big Thank You to Rita from Panoply
for being our hostess with the mostess!
Today I’m joining 16 other table stylists
with my Thanksgiving Blessings table
You will find the links to all the tables at the end of this post
We will actually be at the beach for Thanksgiving
and will have a non traditional Seaside Thanksgiving

Today I am going to share a table I set in my foyer
for a special meal with a friend before I go

Thanksgiving is late this year, November 28
When we get back from the beach it will be December 1
so I decided to use a sparkling fruit tree for the centerpiece
that I can easily transition to Christmas by removing the pumpkins

Thanksgiving is about being grateful and counting your blessings

It’s also about eating turkey and dressing!

Your Thanksgiving table is the place

Where you’ll want to linger long after you say Grace

You dine on favorites like Green Bean Casserole
You want a taste of everything, that is your goal!

Do you have a menu of traditional foods?
This year I’m in sort of a non traditional mood

There are several different recipes I want to try

like Maple Bourbon Glazed Ham and Caramel Apple Pie
Thank you so much for your visit!

Good Morning Jenna, I love your nontraditional seaside Thanksgiving table as well as your simple table for two in your foyer. Your sparkling fruit tree provides a perfect centerpiece to transition for Thanksgiving to Christmas. Maple Bourbon Glazed Ham and Caramel Apple Pie sound delicious too. Happy Tuesday! 🦃🧡
Thank you Mary, the holidays are upon us!
Good Morning Jenna! I am blessed to know you virtually!
I love your table set for two—perfect for sharing with a friend. Your sparkling fruit tree is an ideal choice. Later, it will be transitioned for Christmas. That’s my kind of centerpiece!
Caramel Apple Pie sounds delicious. Save me a piece, please.
Thanks for the inspiration!
Happy November!
Thank you Nancy, I am blessed to know you too! I can’t believe the holidays are right around the corner!
Jenna, how nice to spend Thanksgiving at the beach!! Enjoy! I hope you have beautiful weather! Thank you for sharing your quaint table for you and a friend to share a thankful moment together. Your fruit tree centerpiece is perfect for the occasion. It is a blessing to be tablescaping with you all these years, Happy Thanksgiving!!🙏🏼🧡
This is from Ann at Corner of Plaid and Paisley!! Sorry;)
Thank you for letting me know that was you, Ann!
Thank you so much!!
Good morning Jenna, my menu is traditional foods. I sometimes add one non-traditional item if I am inspired to try something new for a crowd. Have a wonderful holiday at the beach!
Thanks so much Deb! Have a wonderful November!
I know I sound like an old old lady, but, “THE OLDER I GET . . .” the more I love Thanksgiving. All of these tables and especially your tall table fruit tree are all beautiful. A Mexican restaurant here in Fairhope had giant candy canes hanging outside their door on November 1st and I just about wrecked the car when I drove by. “What about Thanksgiving???” I’m thankful you love it too.
Yes, I don’t like to do any Christmas decorating until after Thanksgiving, I like to enjoy November before the holiday chaos!
That fruit tree is the perfect transitional focal piece for your lovely table.
Thanks so much Carole!
Jenna, I love the beach table and your special table for two. Of course, I always enjoy your poems! I love the fruit tree, it is a stunning centerpiece and also perfect for Christmas. I enjoy Thanksgiving for the gathering of family and the bounty of food! I always love a seat at one of your tables. Wishing you a blessed season of Thanksgiving!
Thank you so much Pam, Thanksgiving it truly a special time, I know yours with be full of love and blessings!
Jenna, how nice to share a friendsgiving before having Thanksgiving at the beach with your family. I love the simplicity of the table for two, and the topiary tree is just right. Whether at the beach or city, turkey or ham, it’s about our blessings and sharing. I like your non-traditional menu ideas (I am not a fan of the turkey meal, but the sides, yes). Thank you for joining us here on the hop. Happy Thanksgiving season!
Thanks so much Rita! I am not a turkey lover either, but bring on the sides! Thank you for another great hop!
Jenna, your table for you and your friend is a lovely way to share a meal. Always love reading your rhyming text. I’m one who loves Thanksgiving and the month of November, but having a late Thanksgiving always has me rushing to get turkeys put away and Christmas holiday out. I’m hosting my girlfriends here for dinner in December, so it will be rush, rush! Happy Thanksgiving! I know it will be lovely oceanside. Grateful for your friendship all these year, Jenna.
Thanks so much Sarah, I think we will all feel rushed this year with Thanksgiving so late! I am grateful for your friendship too 🙂
Hi Jenna, a seaside Thanksgiving sounds wonderful! Your Friendsgiving table is lovely and I really like your creative centerpiece. Happy November! Cecilia @ My Thrift Store Addiction
Thanks so much Cecilia!
Jenna, I looked and read and there was the familiar prose you are so famous for. What a lovely table for two in your foyer and what a lovely table at the beach. We had talked about how late Thanksgiving is this year and how close Christmas is…Oh well, I am so very thankful for friends such as yourself and I wish you a blessed thanksgiving with your precious family no matter where you are. Happy November 🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃🐿️🦆🍁
Thank you so much Kari!!
Jenna, you make art, tablescapes, and food look so easy. You have a creative talent.
And I should add poetry to that list! 😉
haha, thank you 🙂
Thank you so much Linda!
Jenna,
The table you set up for you and your friend is beautiful. I love your carpet in the foyer under the table too. Being at the beach for Thanksgiving is a completely different feel. Being vegan, I am able to make all the sides that traditionally go with the turkey but no turkey. My daughter- I n-law and son have taken over hosting the holiday since no one is interested in coming to a house with no turkey. lol …She invites our entire extended family and everyone makes something. I may make a pumpkin pie and some sort of sweet potato side dish.
Thank you so much Judee! Although I’m not a vegan, I don’t care about the turkey, but love all the delicious side dishes! How nice of your son and DIL to host a large family gathering, I know you will all have a wonderful time!
Jenna, your fruit adorned tree is lovely with the surrounding pumpkins. Gotta love those wooden thankful sayings. How fun to celebrate at the beach house with a non-traditional Thanksgiving. We are having a traditional dinner. I love turkey, gravy and dressing. I don’t know why I don’t make it more. Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving with blessings.
Thank you so much, enjoy your Thanksgiving!
Jenna, I love your table for two in your beautiful foyer! The sparkling fruit tree is gorgeous and lends itself to changing seasons and occasions. The wooden sayings on the plates are darling and I always so enjoy your wonderful prose. But how lovely that you and your family will spend Thanksgiving at the beach and your beach table is fabulous! I’m sure the menu will be absolutely delicious and the weather will be beautiful. I love love the turkey painting. It is always such a treat to blog hop with you and I’m wishing you and your family a most wonderful Thanksgiving!!
Thank you so much Kim, we are looking forward to some beach time. I made the sparkling fruit tree a long time ago and it’s still one of my favorite decorations. I am enjoying it styled with velvet pumpkins right now and when I get back from the beach I will swap the pumpkins out and add touches of Christmas and keep it there through December.
Jenna, I love the eye-catching centerpieces in both your seaside and home tables! I imagine Thanksgiving on the beach is a laid-back affair — well as laid-back as Thanksgiving can get given the sumptuous menus and heightened anticipation. The tranquil approach for dinner with a friend is inviting and being able to transition easily to another holiday is a definite plus. Hope you have a very happy Thanksgiving!
Thanks so much Sandra, Happy Thanksgiving!
You have such a beautiful home, Jenna! I love my first glimpse of your entry table with the pink napkins echoing the pink of your wall! Just lovely! Smart idea to make your centerpiece transformable – I can’t wait to see what you do for Christmas. And I’m so glad we got another poem, I look forward to those every time! Oooh Caramel Apple Pie – I’m IN!! Thank you once again for the beautiful inspiration and the fun entertainment! Hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving at the beach!
Thanks so much Barbara! I can’t believe the holidays are upon us!
Why a great centerpiece, Jenna. the fruits and vines work perfectly for a Thanksgiving theme. I know you will have a wonderful Thanksgiving at the beach and a splendid table setting there. The velvet pumpkins work so well with the fruit topiary. Your wooden Thankful sayings on the plates are perfect for a season of gratefulness. Have a wonderful time at the beach and a lovely Thanksgiving.
Lynne
Thank you so much Lynne!
Jenna, a beachside Thanksgiving sounds ideal! I do love your table for two. The festive tree is eye catching, and what a great idea to change up the pumpkins for Christmas decor! My favourite detail is the words “thankful” and “blessed”! The gold letters against the burgundy napkin is striking! Happy Thanksgiving 🙂
Thanks so much, it’s a nice feeling to know I have a little head start on Christmas decorating 🙂
I adore your centerpiece tree! Wish I could spend Thanksgiving by the sea! Enjoy your family and Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Thanks so much Patti! Safe travels to Ohio
This looks like my kind of Thanksgiving table. Love the tree — a nice transitional look. (I hate late Thanksgiving!) And I like your menu ideas. How fun to have TG by the seaside!
Thanks Jeanie! Yes, a late Thanksgiving puts us into a Christmas rush!
Jenna, your foyer is so beautiful and is always a perfect place to set a table. I love it when you do. It looks like it has so much wonderful light. How wonderful to enjoy a dinner with a close friend before you join your family at the beach. Your table is so pretty and the autumn tree centerpiece is stunning. The new recipes you want to try sound scrumptious especially the apple dessert. I like to have familiar dishes and add a couple of new ones too. I wish you and your family a happy and blessed Thanksgiving sweet friend!
Thank you so much Shannon! I hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
