Broccoli Candy

Even non broccoli eaters will love this!

  • 1-2 large heads of broccoli cut into florets
  • 2-3 garlic cloves sliced
  • 1 lemon juice and zest
  • 2-3 oz. shaved or shredded Parmesan divided
  • salt & pepper
  • olive oil


  • Put broccoli florets on a cooking oil sprayed foil lined baking sheet.
  • Squeeze lemon and drizzle juice over broccoli. Season with salt, lemon zest, and pepper and drizzle with olive oil.
  • Using your hands, toss florets around to distribute the oil, lemon and seasoning. Spread back out into an even layer and sprinkle with garlic slices and 1/2 of Parmesan cheese
  • Bake at 400 about 30 minutes, or until done to your liking. Remove from oven and add remaining cheese. Return to oven 1-2 minutes to melt cheese. Makes 3-4 servings
