Cook bacon until uniformly crisp. The best method for this is on a parchment lined baking sheet in a 325-350 oven. Cooking time will vary so check often near the end. Drain well and discard any part that is underdone or burnt. Pulse in food processor until bacon is small crumbs. Add salt. Pulse a few times to mix. Store in a jar in refrigerator. Date jar, and use within 1 month. Makes about 3/4 cup.
